    Default Toyota Vitz Owners/Fan Club

    The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Toyota Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

    @Chinyoti,

    yaar the dholki need NOT to be replaced... the existing dholki is cut open and the cat is extracted completely or is broken into half (from side) so that the noise remains down. Then the original dholki is re-welded again.
    That person ripped you off by replacing your original dholki with the shitty local one and must have charged you alot as well.

    The proceess mentioned above only costs you around 200 rs. got and get the original one from that person and replace if you can.

    @^^ Asif bhai, ure totally rite, he did rip me off, but at my first visit he gave me 2 options

    1) to get a peice of pipe

    2) to get that silver round dholki

    when dis came out i was qurius that cant i get the same thing which has come out, he said we do have one peice left but wont recomend u its expencive, im the one who felt this golden dholki being more better built (atleast it felt it is better built) so i got this one. it said paksteel or sumthing,

    secondly i got my old dholki back... if this thing dosent helps me in my fuel average then il go to him nd force on the cut and weld with the same dholki,

    i noe this guy very old so he said i wont recomend the cut and weld thing coz if sumthing remains in it this mite coz choking of the entire system

    Thnx again

    @ akif bhai, i guess my pics were detailed enuff, but still the sensonr is located before it so there no chance of it getting damaged, the cat is located in the first dholki, if u lie under the car its clearly visible.

    Dear respected Pakwheelers !

    I am in the process of purchasing Vitz for myself here in Lahore.

    I have come through this Black Vitz 2004 with following features :

    2007 registered LEE 07 42000 km driven, Fully loaded package ,non-CNG, Digital meter, keyless entry, new alloy rims, spoiler, Crystal back lights, H.I.D beam, sporty body kit, Powered mirror, sreering n windows , Security system plus other usual vitz features.

    The seller is demanding Rs.685,000 for the car.

    I need your precious advice whether the demand is justified and i enter into the deal.

    Secondly Can any one share me the contact of a trusty Vitz mechanic at Lahore whom i would engage for helping me in sorting out any possible problem in the car before purchase.

    Thanks n waiting for your reply.

    @zubairmanzar

    sorry for a little late reply, i was traveling.

    I have got cng 50kg tank installed in my vitz and its working very good.

    1. rpm adjust
    if you dont know already, learn how to tune your CNG, i.e. whenever you'll change air filter, you'll need to re-tune cng, so you must know how to do it yourself. its just a game of two knobs, very easy.

    in terms of rpm with a/c, you need to turn ac on first, then turn it off, then quickly give a 4-5k rpm, then quickly release the accelerator, and see if car vibrates, if it does then you need to move your either of knobs... the cng guy will tell you more about knobs.

    2. performance
    there is a technique which is a MUST on all EFI cars when being operated on CNG. Basically you need to somehow cut the air exact pipe diameter to half. I am attaching pictures of how I have done it in my car, make sure you use PAPER tape and NOT pvc/plastic tape in front, as paper tape will not melt like pvc/plastic.

    @Zolojazz

    Bro..squeezing sounds come from the rear pads when i press the brake paddle gently. The handbrake is only affective when fully pulled. Wht do you suggest?

    Abt the air intake thing..i had actually covered more than 50% of the pipe before it gave excellent performance but very low mileage and the car did not start in the morning. so reduced it to 40%. Performance is still good and mileage has also increased. Thanks
