    Default Toyota Vitz Owners/Fan Club

The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Toyota Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

Thanks for valuable advise. I know company people are quite expensive, but its matter of mental satisfaction and matter of exposure company workers have. I'm sure any roadise idiot cannot open and service throtle body and things like that for these cars.....

    @killervtec

bro, today i went to rwp, i searched for all of your suggested tires but couldn't find any except sp sport 490, so i purchased these tires.

they said potenza has been discontinued and we don't have yoko c drive. Plus they said pirelli p6000 is not available in this size and they suggested not to use pirelli because its real hard tire. they had pirelli 400 or something but i avoid it.

Yokohama a300 was in market but i didn't buy it because i heard its not a long life tire.

I'm feeling quite good with new tires but a lil bit worried about bubble problem which i had in my old dunlop eco 201. Hope these tires long last(Inshallah).

    @ raja 01.
These sp 490 are very good and i used them twice in my alro 2000 which is still with my younger bro. I bought alto at 51k on the clock and put 490 on them and then changed them at 124,000 kms. And as i was a satisfied customer of Sp 490 i then again put these tires and still driven 20,000, with out any issues.

So not to worry. Regarding bubbling, then definitly either of ur rims is creating trouble for u. Get ur rims checked.

the correct sizes for the vitz are the following (for the last time):

    165/75R13=578mm (perfect match)
    175/70R13=575mm (near-perfect match)
185/70R13=589mm (a little wide but can be fit)
185/65R13=571mm (a little wide & short but a close fit)

    14's
    165/70R14=578mm (perfect match)
175/65R14=583mm (a little tall but acceptable)
    185/60R14=578mm (perfect match)
195/55R14=570mm (a little smaller than ideal but can be fit)
205/55R14=581mm (a little wide but can be fit)

    15's
    175/55R15=574mm (near-perfect match)
185/55R15=585mm (a little tall but acceptable)

Guys!! I've been stranded into a new trouble due to my own mistake. I will explain it in urdu and hope for your suggestions..

Kuch arsa pehle meine seat cover change kiye, us ne front seats bahir nikali, cover change kiye, us k baad meri driver side seat belt warning light on nahi hui, us waqt meine gor nahi kia.

Parsoo mein ek local car electrician k pass gya, us ne belt k neeche wala plastic cover utara, wahan 2 kisam ki wires thi, ek to left pe white plug type aur ek bottom pe Yellow plug tha. Us ne socha yellow wala belt ka tha, us ne usey kheenchna shuru kar dia, pehle to us se nikal hi nahi raha tha, phir us ne voltage check karne k liye ek sui(needle) type cheez us yellow plug k neeche daali lekan koi result nahi mila.

Us k baad se meri airbag wali light blink karna shuru ho gai hai, us ne kaafi hilane ki koshish ki par wo off nahi ho rahi.

Jab switch on karo to normal on hoti hai, off hote sath hi blink shuru kar deti hai, meine search kia to pata chala k circuit ya fuse mein problem hai.

I'm really worried, does anybody know its solution??

Get ur ride scanned. Seems to be some short circuit coz of that needle experiment..... NEways U'll have to get it scanned to get clearer picture. These cars are very senstivie in such things, e.g. a friend of mine told me that once break lights of his car were not working and the ABS indicator got on

there are three clips two near the pillar and one on the opposite side, after opening them unscrew the two screws one at the door opening handle and other inside the handle which we are used to pull to close the door.

    Hi,

What is the price now of Vitz 2004 model FL package, one owner. The last I heard was Rs.740,000/-. I was just wondering but it would be nice to know what our cars are worth now.

    2005 vitz noise solution:

salaam all a lot of people have been coming to me with problems with the 05 vitz engine noise. i noticed there is alot of noise so as an experiment i fitted an extra dholki in my friends car. noise level has reduced alot n runs much better whoever the speed has been reduced a lil but after having the throttle body opened n cleaned n having the sensor cleaned using the phillips degreaser spray (used for computer circuits) everything was much better.

pls let me know if their is any cons on the long run of fitting an extra dholki as so far the car is running sound
