    Default Toyota Vitz Owners/Fan Club

The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Toyota Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

i use total most of the times, but i have felt that their quality has detoriated over the past 4 - 5 months. now i'll try shell and mix hi octane.

btw, i am using iridium plugs, and everything else is stock.

@wasay, cud please specify the exact code nd Company of the specified iridium plugs coz i still remember the ones came from japan were ngks nd KhanMotors guy told me to that Denso K-16r are Vitzes orignal company recomended plugs. nd then i also checked here at this forum many other people were using the same plugs

coz many people at pakwheels say that using heavy plugs dunt give u any extra power, altho i agree wid them but some how Driving my Dads Baleno on CNG with 4 pins plugs was more fun. but im kinda afraid since its coils nd wires got weak so i switched to normal plugs. im jst a bit suspecious that it hapend coz of heavy plugs.

@ Gorkan, ap bhe batao wat plugs are u using.

When I changed my tyres to 195/50/15, I had the same issue but due to perfect wheel alignment the problem got solved. Check your wheel alignment or might the bush and rubber of the suspensions would have cut down because of jumps and speed brakers.

Easy solution for you guys is open the air filter box, get that 7ct Carborator cleaner spray the cleaner into the hole of airintake with some accelerator. Some smell will arose from it like of burning and from the cylincer and then you will feel the difference. MAF sensor should be open when mechanic says that it needs to get changed.

My vitz 2005 model had completed 25,000km (13,000km when I got it). during regular oil and filter change I also got replaced its Automatic Tranmission Fluid (called gear oil previously), first the quantity which drained out was quite small, second it had turned almost black, third this model does not have a gauge to check transmission oil. I replaced it with ordinary ATF available in the market SPD something. Now I have come to know that the recommended ATF for this model is ATF JWS3324 or NWS9638 (also used in Prius).

Now should I go out and buy this ATF and again replace it, will the standard ATF damage the 'System', please advise.

vitz 2005+ model ATF oil is called WS (world standard) oil by toyota, only they know why. They recommend that it is for life, but all the websites I have visited say it must be replaced after 25,000 km like anyother ATF.
it is supposed to cost 42$per gallon, 3 times more than ordinary ATF.
