    Default Toyota Vitz Owners/Fan Club

    The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Toyota Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

    were the spacers in front suspention or the rear?
    removing spacers can be the reason of allignment difference but the "single tak"noise is mysterious if it was continuosly "tak tak"then the reason were to be axles but it could also be some problem in the steering mechanism.
    if you want an educated allignment guy,i can give you his contact number,he is reliable and well experienced,my father is getting allignment work done since before i was born!he can tell you the solution to this tak tak noise.

    Hi. I recently purchased a 2001 model from a fellow PW member and the car is in pretty decent condition. I took it for a Toyota inspection and they told me that they've identified some issues. Im writing the costs of the parts they want me to change.

    Front Suspension + Labor=5000 + 1800

    Rear Suspension + Labor=8500 + 1800

    Plugs=1000

    Air Filter=700

    Oil Filter=?

    Fuel Filter=2950

    Front Brake Pads=4500

    Rear Brake Pads=2700

    I think these prices are way too high. Can anybody gimme a price list of these items from some local mechanic?

    in my opinion
    if u go for old one from sher shah which r best option
    then

    Front Suspension + Labor=2500+600

    Rear Suspension + Labor=3000 + 600

    new
    Plugs=600

    Air Filter=250,450(two options)

    Oil Filter=1400(3.5 liters caltex havoline)

    Fuel Filter=1200 (OLD)

    Front Brake Pads=max 1000 to 1200

    Rear Brake Pads=1000 to 1200

    i have installed all these at these rates dunt go for auhtorized dealers bt from local mechanics

    From all ive heard the average fuel consumption should be around 15km/ltr with AC. I recently purchased a vitz and its giving me only 10km/ltr. However to get the mileage up you need to get these done.

    Clean Throttle Body
    Clean Air Flow Sensor
    Replace Air Filter
    Replace Oil Filter and Oil
    Replace Plugs
    Replace Fuel Filter
    Remove CAT

    Im sure making these changes will get the mileage up....i just need to get time to get it done.
