    Default Toyota Vitz Owners/Fan Club

    The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Toyota Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

    wires in my car are fine so no need to change them. if you are not sure, just get an electrican to check the conductivity of the wires,... should be ok.

    @sqahar

    Dude you are not the only lazy one, I havent checked the plugs since I got my vitz and that was back in September last year.

    @Storm

    Yara I am really impressed, you are all up your cars all the time, you know very well how to maintain your stuff. Truly motivational!

    I guess i would check the plugs on this weekend, from the discussion NGK sounds like a good option.

    I am in Peshawar now, so i think it would be possible to get the 100 Amperes main fuse thats missing.
    There is one thing I would break up over and that is if she caught me with another woman. I wouldn't stand for that!

    @max414

    Regarding the radio issue, here's what I did. I bought an audio cassette adapter (it's a cassette with a wire coming out of it with a stereo input pin on the other end). I bought an additional hands free wire for my cell phone (obviously the cell phone had fm radio too). I cut off the pins of the hand-free wire and the cassette adapter and joined the wires (solded them for pakka kaam).

    So now I put in the cassette and play it... while my cell phone works as the fm radio receiver. As a bonus, I get a hands free in which my car speakers work as cell phone speakers!

    The other option I had was to add a frequency advancer (or something like that) in the wiring of my radio but that results in slight loss in radio quality and the actual frequency becomes different from the one shown by radio. And I really didn't want to change the original stuff. Btw, I asked a relative to bring the cassette adapter from saudi arabia, but I've heard it's available in pk too! Hope this helps.

    it is available in pakistan as well and its pretty cheap. the idea of using car speakers as cell phones speakers is funny. you cant talk to your gf while u have ur friends sitting in the car.

    as far as the AC is concerned... beyond exaggeration mine is very COOL... i dont remember using it above 2 points unless i'm driving in 45 degrees where it all becomes the same. i usually drive at 1 and have to switch it off after half an hour for 5-10 minutes if its a long drive. no i am not kidding!
