    Default Toyota Vitz Owners/Fan Club

The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Toyota Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

And about EFI .. the EFI doesn't even work while on CNG so really it has no effect on CAR in my view, its the tranny manual/automatic that really counts on CNG and more importantly and mostly only the manual cars are more successful in CNG

    man i don't want CNG

well buddy its OK! my car on straight road with normal wind(lol) also touch max of 132km/hr and if you try to push more (without turning off the OD) car act the same way if we turn the OD off,it will just shift down to lower gear(3rd gear) and speed up to 156km/hr! thats it

don't know abt other cars...claiming themselve that they touched 180km/hr in normal and stock cars

you don't have to worry about it...you car is OK,like mine

Hello guys, I have a Vtiz 2000 model. I am struggling with its millage on CNG, I went to two different mechanics and even tried the computerized tuning but that didn't helped me at all.

On CNG it is just giving me 70 - 80 Kms.

I have no issues with the pick, its just awesome but millage sucks, your expert advice will be highly appreciated !?!?!?!?!

Actauly the EFI car needs a ECU to control so thats y its still in working. (you have to install a emulator to give false readings remember) secondly chalne ko her gari chalti hai no issues.

The things i was reffering to.

    Vitz has smaller valves,

Vitzes brakes get harder on CNG (sometimes people have complained there not able to brake the car).

Normal gari mei (aye din battery down)

Har hafte air filter ka jhanjhat.

    Shorter oil drainage periods.

If u dont drive on petrol (most CNG car owners jst start the car on petrol and think its enuff) fuel filer, fuel pump, petrol injectors Die pre maturly.

short ignition coils. (common in Efi cars, noticable only in Liana, Baleno nd Lancer nd Santro because in those cars one coil is responsible to 2 cylinders while in other cars if one coil is short you only feel minor missing 4 seperate coils for each cylinder.) and you know wat all the above costs for a EFi car rather then a Carby cultus, alto, mehran, coure.

CNG is okay wid those people who fully avail it, i.e who have atleast a 60 to 80 kms running a day. Normal cars wid home running are driven for grocery in gali mohalla wid full time a.c on only make upto 80 to 100kms Maximum (i can chalenge it/ or mayb my driving habbits differ) in full 55kg (fills in around 450 to 500) cylinder.

Itna to meri vitz 500 k petrol pe chaljati hai (90 kms on Rs 500 Petrol).
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

No you don’t need to go to the mechanic, the noise is just the ABS doing what it should do, it stops the cars brakes locking up and skidding so don’t worry your car is A-ok.

How come removing the cat increases fuel consumption ? I didn't get the point.

I think removing the cat would reduce the work of pushing exhaust gases against higher back pressure. So mechanical efficiency should improve; thus reducing lost work output. I think it should improve fuel consumption.

I have yet to check my fuel stats after the removal of cat however.
