    Default Toyota Vitz Owners/Fan Club

The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Toyota Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

That is an after-market Tv/Navigation system/DVD player. It would cost you somewhere around 20-22,000. The backup camera doesn't cost much (2000-3000rs).

I have no idea where it can be found in Islamabad. But do remember it doesn't have that great of sound and picture quality.

You can get in Rs 17500 from Metro Cash and Carry and Night Vision Camera will cost you 1500~1800 and fitting around 500~800 so sum it up, the Screen is from China i think Rock Mars Company with 6 Months Warranty. After installing Camera make sure you park it safe as many like to take the Camera away.

For tyres actually it depends upon your budget as if have good money with me then would be going for Michelin but in normal Dunlop is good for all kind of Roads and Yoko for mostly paved conditions. With Bridgestone have the Issues.

Engine Oil you can use any one but keep in mind the Viscosity according to the Pakistan Weather as i would suggest you API Spec 20w-50, Brand can be Petromin, Caltex or Toyota. Petromin is better as it yet to be popular brand and you can get the Original from our member @Storm.

For Transmission Oil i would suggest you to stick to Toyota Fluid and dont ever follow myth of dont change the Transmission Oil.

For economy you can add some ENgine Oil and Fuel Additives from Liqui Moly.

    Don't go above the profile of 185/70/R15, keep a profile between 175/60/R14 - 185/70/R15 and you're good.

Liquimoly the engine oil or what?

Mobil 1 5W-50? It's a top class engine oil, fully synthetic. The maximum you could go without an engine oil replacement is 5000kms after that the oil becomes thicker and blacker which will lead to sludge after another thousand kilometers or so. An ideal oil replacement is between 4000-5000Kms.

It can, you are going to get tires an inch bigger, the width as well as your aspec ratio will increase. Don't change to 15 inch tires then, 165/70/R14 is the factory spec size for the 1KR-FE variants. Obviously if you will go for a bigger profile you will feel a number of differences. Why do you want to replace the tires you have on now anyways?

AoA brothers. I am also thinking to buy fresh import vitz in Islamabad. I know my question might have been already discussed in the thread. I have tried my best to search it in the thread but in vain. Please tell me which is the BEST PACKAGE AVAILABLE FOR 2007/08/09 vitz to buy which contains full options like alloy rims, climate control , RPM Meter, push start, 8 airbags and other stuffs like that. Just tell me the name. I have heard it is ILL Package with 4.5 grade. Is it the one? I want to buy the best one available in 1.3L.

    regards,
