    Default Toyota Vitz Owners/Fan Club

The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Toyota Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

Please do not go for a swapped engine Vitz, how is he running the Super CVT-i gearbox if he has the 2NZ-FE installed? The 2NZ-FE runs with a 4-speed automatic transmission not a Super CVT-i.

I would not suggest you to get it, he is asking way to much for a engine-swapped car.

BTW, why don't you raise your budget a little and buy a fresh import?

Murtaza u are spot on about this one.... But both 1000cc and 1300cc come in two type of engine variants but in our market only SCP90 are available for 1000cc but for 1300cc its variable... i have seen both types on road and with dealers as well ..
SCP-90 are 1KR-FE engines with Super CVTi
    NCP-90 are 2NZ-FE engines with simple 4AT

Dont go for a car with swapped engine... too many "rollas" attached with it...
I would also suggest u to raise budget a little and go for fresh import... its always nice to get it registered on ur own name... rest ur choice... best of luck.

Nice info. You have told us two kinds of 1300cc available. Which is the better one? What is the difference? Which should I buy ?

    Wrong.

    KSP-90 is a 1000cc With 1KR-FE CVT box
    SCP-90 is a 1300cc With 2SZ-FE CVT box
    NCP-90 is a 1300cc With 2NZ-FE ECT box

Well in my opinion 2NZ-FE is the most suitable 1300cc variant coz this is the same engine that is being used for our local Gli and Xli indus co'rolla'. It can support CNG very well plus no tension about maintainance as japanese assembled engines are far superior then local ones. So u can njoy japanese technology with local advantage aswell. Also God forbid u do get stuck with desi street mechanic by chance there are less chances of screwing ur engine... also its a VVti engine with good pick and efficiency.

    How to distinguish b/w two...?
    1. When u open bonnet a sticker is present inside towards the front edge that will be having engine type written
    2. It'll be looking same as local corolla 1300cc engine with VVti written on top jux beside engine oil 'dhakna'.
The 1300cc 1KR-FE engine is same as Vitz 2003-2004 engine in which VVti is written in front on air fiter box. But it has a CVTi gearbox for which CNG is slow poison...
    I hope it helped...

    1300Cc, 2NZ-FE with CVT Transmission.

    right ???

Thank you so much. Now I can narrow my search. I will update you with the pictures after buying. If you want to give more recommendations/suggestions do update me.

Bro ECT (Electronically Controlled Transmission) is not a type of transmission rather its a principle/main working component of an automatic transmission.
CVTi ( Continuously Variable Transmission -intellgent) and 4AT ( 4 gear auto transmission) are two main types of tranny.
CVTi is latest with variable gear ratios providing good traction and torque as well. ( Vitz 2005 onwards + Belta)
4AT is older version which had fixed gear ratios. (Vitz 1999-2004)

ECT is employed in both CVTi and 4AT trannys...

So murtaza and i were right i guess...

Well shoaib im recommending 2NZ-FE 1300cc engine as it doesnt have CVT box but a 4AT. Its suitable for CNG. If u are not interested in CNG than both are OK with 1KR-FE having slight edge cuz of CVT. Best of Luck for+with ur buy.

Within your budget a 1.3L U package would be the best option. The 2NZ-FE comes only in the 4WD variants and it has a 4-speed automatic transmission not a CVT.

Thanks bro. This makes me think to get 2NZ-FE 1300cc with 4AT. But what is the mileage difference in them(CVT and AT)? Tell me which will give better mileage on Petrol? CVT or AT? and please also tell which one gives more driving pleasure?
