    Default Toyota Vitz Owners/Fan Club

The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Toyota Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

@ahmad_yar, Ahmad bhae tension not, Is your car vibrating at idle? Or do you feel the car is choking? If yes only then go for throttle body cleaning, Till then drive tension free.
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

Throttle body cleaning helps the car to breath and idle properly, Fuel efficiency isnt much effected,

As you press the accelerator the Round thing moves the more you press the more it opens, It shuts and 0 rpms (or when you turn of the car).

Carbon deposits keep accomodating their, It can be cleaned with a throttle body/Carburator cleaning spray by simply opening the airfiler box assembly. If its too much dirty then opening and servicing it is required, Because of the carbon deposits the "round thing" doesnt let enough air pass thru as is required. Their fore the car vibrates abnormally. In Civics its a common problem that car fluctuates RPMS and one can litterally see it going from 500-2500 just so that the car wouldnt die and remain started.

Depends on what you get, a normal one is avalible for 300 to 500, What they call genuine cross 1000-1500 mark, I noticed mine is not a perfect fit :/

In the previus model their is a tray to fit the filter, In 2005+ Just open the cover and place the filter.

    D is for normal drive
S & B would keep car in power gears for steep roads or high rpm sporty drive, as it would limit gear movement...My vitz climbed this steep area in S mode. However, you may also use B if you feel under powered!!

if your car has gained momentum and you approach a slope then i dont think you need to select "S". Keep driving in normal " D". However, if your car has lost momentum and you feel that it is struggling in climbing up on the slope, then opt "S" (sport).
B (brake) is to be selected usually while coming down the slope. B improves braking function of the car. Dont opt for B if you are going up on a slope. Makes no sense in my opinion.

"B" may be used while going up the hill, ... If you verify once again, it has the highest torque plus clutch is fully depressed, meaning drive train would decelerate with the engine if you put your pedal off the accelerator and VV.
