    Default Toyota Vitz Owners/Fan Club

    The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Toyota Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

    Hi baqai,

    I just bought the oil from Plaza yesterday its 4,000 rupees for a 4 L can for my Belta. Toyota CVT-TC is the fluid to use. DO you know of any good mechanic who can do this and has done it before. I plan to do mine shortly.

    Depends on which 1.3 you have, 1.3 comes both in 2WD and AWD, the 2WD version (2SZFE) comes with CVT while the AWD (2NZFE) comes with conventional auto gear box. First check which version you have before getting the oil.

    I am not really sure about mechanic part myself, i would opt to go to Toyota to get it done myself or will find out once i have the car with me.

    Toyota ppl are too expensive and they may not allow you to enter the workshop so you dont know what is going on.. I'm sure there are other good mechanics that can do the job too.

    Ok I had spoken to Yazdani but he insists on removing the sump but I dont want to do that because I cannot get the original part Gasket and O-ring from Plaza so will hvae to probably go for a simple drain flush if i dont get the parts.

    I'm not comfortable with using silicone to stick the pan back.

    I read a thread on PW regarding CVT oil change and for proper change you will need to remove the O rings and Gasket and replace them (ideally) i am surprised you were not able to find them at Plaza, let me find out if i can find them anywhere and will let you know

    Exactly! Good thread. That is the thread but some say its not necessary to open the sump as the oil gets drained anyways when you open up the sump drain bolt and the drain tube.

    - Actually
    2NZFE = 4WD
    2SZFE = 2WD (I own one)

    - Previously posted
    I beg to differ
    2NZFE = 2WD (I own one)
    2SZFE = 4WD

    Vitz 1KRFE (1.0L), 2NZFE(1.3L), 2SZFE(1.3L) have the same K-410 transmission, it can be further verified from the sticker on pessenger side front seat piller.

    Exactly! Good thread. That is the thread but some say its not necessary to open the sump as the oil gets drained anyways when you open up the sump drain bolt and the drain tube.
    Sump is recessed beyond drain point, so complete oil within the sump (around 500ml) wouldn't drain, and this wouldn't be an issue since additional 2.5ish liters is still up in transmission too and is meant to be so.
    Around 300ml from the sump can still be drained by jacking up the car from behind (that's what i did ).

    Toyota dealership were asking for PKR 2,000 for supplies + 2,000 labor after opening the sump. I got it done in 300 from my own mechanic without opening the sump.

    When you remove the drain bolt only about 500 ml comes out, you then have to remove the drain tube and an additional 2500 comes out.

    Exactly, ... after that when you jack the car up, additional 300ml drain out. Did that last weekend.

    i might be wrong but from what i have read and heard my opinion were based on that, since you are owner of the one you would be knowing more.

    https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/eng...-2sz-fe-2nz-fe

    On both the posts people are suggesting that 2SZFE is the 2WD and 2NZFE is the 4WD secondly it is also suggested that 2NZFE is non CVT thus recomended for CNG usage while 2SZFE is not recomended for CNG usage because of CVT ... even i am confused now
