    Default Toyota Vitz Owners/Fan Club

The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Toyota Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

And I'm back to London now so not much of a use :p

Back sensor? Do you have any idea where it is located? And you'll always be a crucial part of this club! Thank you.

It will be somewhere in the exhaust pipe. A small plug type thing with wires. In my vitz 2010, its its right after the bend below the engine.

There is only one sensor for the first gen Vitz... You will have to position the sensor away from the exhaust headers or use spacers in between to avoid the check engine light...

I am running custom headers with straight piping... No check engine light ever... It's all about the positioning of the sensor...

    Cheers...
Driving is not about going from point A to point B, it is the point...

Just talked to both of them. I'll visit adnan tmrw. He says that he'll have to check the car. Rauf says that I have to change the O2 sensor and he suggested me to get one from Bilal Gunj.

    Woah, that's a good way.
Thank you so much! I have a feeling I'll end up changing the sensor. I had saved the money for foglights

If the code thrown states that the value is too crappy and the ecu cannot adjust the fuel trim then u shud definetely try a defoiler kit...

If it is getting no signal from the sensor then u may have to get a new sensor...

    Cheers...

Thank you so much for the reply. I'll be visiting a mechanic tmrw. I'll let you know. However, from what the the first mechanic told me, the sensor was blown by the ecu because it could not adjust the value according to the Choked catalytic converter. Can you post a picture of your car's engine bay? Your car does not have catalytic converters, right? Thank you so much!

I would love to post a picture but my car's engine is a bit different now...

I can assure you because my last engine was the same as yours (assuming u r running a 1szfe with auto tranny) and there was no cat... Hell, there was no second cat either but the check engine light never came up...

And these sensors don't blow up... They get dirty and their 'sensing material' gets destroyed...

    Cheers...

Should I try having it cleaned and then check? Since I have a feeling some carbon might've gone over it.
