    Default Toyota Vitz Owners/Fan Club

The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Toyota Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

I showed it to a couple of suspension walas in Karachi, one recommended that the left front shock (passenger side)is finished so I changed both the front shocks and installed the seemingly new kabli shocks but the problem remains. Then I showed it to a couple of mechanics, they checked the whole suspension and took out the fendor and took a test drive and kept the car for a entire week but could not solve the problem. When I start the car in the morning or evening after a long break, the car makes the same (Tak) sound on turning the steering wheel and the same sounds intensifies on the speed breakers and the bumps. One thing I noticed is that when I got my car serviced the last time (with proper oil sprayed under the car) the sound disappeared for two days but then it came back again. If anyone has any idea about it please help me out, this sound is making me mad.

Yar I cant explain in exact technical language. But this is a Joint (knee) of the car, which controls the left / right movement of Wheels, when we turn the steering. As all things and parts have a life, This Godda expires with the time. Replacement is best option, but u also can get it repaired. In rear wheel drive cars, there are no Goddas.

Denso Iridium lasers are the best Recommended by Toyota Japan. Best Alternate is NGK, Iridium Lasers if Denso are nt available.

Bro autolite is suitable for cars of 1800cc and above. I'm using denso iridium plugs in my 1.3L vitz. Haven't noticed the consumption yet but i feel a lot of difference in acceleration. Car achieves 150km\h easily on a road where it used to touch 130km\h !

Thanks guys, currently Denso Tough Iridium plugs are installed in the car, i got these when the car was purchased. I don't know when they were installed by the last owner or are they compatible with Vitz or not. So, i m going to change them.

I visited few shops, NGK was the most recommended by the shopkeepers. So i thought to ask you guys.
@hassaan443 Can you share some Part or Serial no. of Denso plugs you are referring.

Low fuel average, vibration when idle in the gear 'D' and heavy throttle (not so sure about this). But you should have it done after every 6-8k kms.
