    Default Toyota Vitz Owners/Fan Club

The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Toyota Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

Yes, other guys are also Correct. There is Different Variants/Packages in every car, Same is with Vitz, Some Models have RPM Meters but some only have Speedometer, But thats worth mentioning, Yaris in UK or Austrailia also have Digital Meters .
Never underEstimate anyone. Might be a charade has a v8 in his heart.

few days back i bought a 2012 vitz, things were going smooth until i changed the air filter to "leppon".
noticeable changes are increased fuel consumption, engine noise also increased and sluggish acceleration. now im sure the culprit is the airfilter here but could be something else. So first i would try to look for the orignal airfilter...any suggestions where i can find one in pindi??

Finding the airfilter isnt so tuff, The car uses the same airfiter as of 99-2004. Orignal Denso costs around 750-1500 depending on where you buy it from. In any case Guard filters are better then Leppon in case Orignal denso is expensive to you atleast use orignal guard, Try to buy from Makro
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

Counterfeiters have upped their game so much that there is no way to tell which is which just by looking at the product. A high copy of denso filters look exactly like the originals.

Copy products aren't just in Pakistan, they've made inroads worldwide.

    1. Fuel Filter Assembly. Rs.6500-6800 Change it and get the OEM/genuine Toyota and forget it for 40,000 KMs
    2. Spark Plugs Rs.800*3= Rs.2400 Inspect and change if required
    3. Front Brake pads (Pair with finest quality) Rs. 3500 Inspect and change if required
    4. Rear Brake Shoes (Pair with finest quality) Rs. 2800 Inspect and change if required While you get the brakes inspected get them serviced if they do not require an immediate change.

You did not mention the Air Filter....To get good kilometers per liter it is essential that you have a fresh Air Filter, so change..

Always go for OEM/genuine Toyota parts, trust me they pay you back in the long term.....

I can't endorse whether these prices are fine or not, you can go to Montgomery road and do some price comparison...
