    Default Toyota Vitz Owners/Fan Club

The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Toyota Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

I cannot understated Japanese but my guess is the air pressure is different for front and rear tyres, according to door sticker of my car..Can some one help me to find out front and rear tyres pressure (2.4 for front or back ??)

Toyota says 2.4 and 2.5 (kPa/kg/cm2) means it should be aroun 34 and around 36 according to below link
    http://www.britishmetrics.com/images/pis-bar.pdf

    Thanks
kPa is one unit and kg/cm2 is the other unit.
So, as per sticker, it is 250 kPascals or 2.5 kg/cm2. You have to convert them if you want pressure in PSI.

Very Useful discussion , I My self is a owner of 2011 model ,I was also using low pressure technique as told by (hawa bharny waly) ,but never ever enjoyed the real taste of drive , Then some where i found it should be around,32 , 32 ,front / rear , Then i tried this ,and drive was very smooth , But tody as per your guys discussion i found ,Its , 34.1 Psi for rear , and 35.6 Psi for front , I am very happy to fill at such gauge .

I assure you that if the tire is in acceptable condition and if you fill it to 150 PSI then even nothing will happen.

Good, but one should keep in mind that this pressure is for 165/70/R14. Always keep a quality tire pressure gauge in your car as you cannot guarantee the accuracy of the gauge used by "tire wala" on the street.

Any one moved from 2nd gen Vitz to 3rd gen? I have the first too have driven 3rd gen in Lhr for 5 days felt more responsive but a bit smaller.

I'm planning to replace my 2nd gen with a 2011-2012 so looking for feedbacks although both the cars are actually similar under the body

    It's a 2013 model (manufactured in April 2013), imported in 2014.
Imported it through my friend (since childhood), in this business in Japan since 1991.
It cost me around 16 Lakh including all documentation (excluding registration).
The higher the model the more the import duty. I paid 2.5 lakh more in duty than 2011 model for 2013.
Interesting part is that my friend did not take any profit for him self.

    Hi guys.
    I just bought vitz 2006 FL 1.3L.
The tyres seem to be in good condition but feel a bit bumpy. Everyone who sits in says reduce the tyre pressure. I was keeping it to abt 28-30. Nw i hv reduced it to further 26. Feels a lot beter now in bumpiess but feels a lit dragish. Will it effect a lot in accelaration n speed n economy??
Also i read above to keep pressure of abt 35/35. Wont it make my car more bumpy??
Also how can i check the manufacturing date if my tyre??
    Plz help required
    I hv 195/60 15R tyres.
