    Default Toyota Vitz Owners/Fan Club

The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Toyota Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

Very easy to differentiate between Vitz F, and Vitz Jewella.
Jewella is built for the ladies (japan) with shocking red, purple, pink etc colors.

Please see extract from a site:

The year of the vehicle is the year of first registration of the vehicle in Japan. This is the legal year of the vehicle in Japan and appears on all the documents of the vehicle itself. In Japan the year of production of the vehicle is not disclosed and can sometimes differ from the year of first registration of the vehicle.

    What is "seatbelts year"?
Seatbelt year is the year of production of the seatbelts. This has no legal meaning in Japan.

If all the seatbelts are made in 2014 the the car will definitely manufactured in 2014

Yes, but i am not convinced, because the manufacture year which I have told is very reliable with out any mistakes. Further no comments.

The best for interior cleaning is foam cleaners
I normally use getsun foam cleaner which is cheap but its result are good and also don't harm electronics of car

And for renewal best is sonax extreame dash board polish
It gives the best matte finish like brand new interior

Also do not have any smell

I got it from Gujrat of 950 rs

It's 0W-20 confirmed for 1.0L , 1kr-fe engine. ( this for best fuel economy and is preferred over 5w30).
5W-30 can also be used, no issues.
5w30 is generally recommended for Vitz 1.3 L or 1300cc engine.

0W-20 may be suitable for Japan but in Pakistan 0W-40 is suitable since ambient temperature here is high

With multi grade (0w30), the 30 fulfils all the high temperature requirements for Pakistan.
Brother, with advancement in technology, the clearances between the moving parts in modern vehicle engines have come down with manufacturers recommending thinner oils accordingly.
You should know that about 70% wear and tear of an engine takes place from cold engine start up till it achieves normal operating temperature. Hence, this initial period of engine warm up is more critical for which the manufacturer has recommended thinner oils.
One can slightly deviate from the recommendations but the manufacturer them selves set the range. Like 0w20 is the recommendation but 5w20, 0w30 and 5w30 could also be used.
Also, with more mileage on the odometer (above 100K), one can go for slightly thicker oils. For 1Kr-fe engine, 40 is too thick with only 10500 miles on the odometer.
