    Default Toyota Vitz Owners/Fan Club

The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Toyota Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

Try buying Michellin. Next is Bridgestone. I think you get Bridgestone Ecopia in Pakistan. Try getting European manufacture or Taiwan for Ecopia.
If you get European manufacturing (Spain etc.) it's best but a fresh piece not more than 6 months old. This is the rule of thumb. Try getting even fresher piece, perhaps 3 months old.
Buy radial A-symmetry tyres. Ensure your rim width is of the right size to fit in the required tire size. I think I have guided you earlier on this.
I personally like Bridgestone Turanza, but it's difficult to get a fresh piece in Pakistan. Michellin are the top most brand in the world, and are costly.
Ok thnx a lot for ur help. Will try to get one of the two brands.
But i dnt thnk tht i cn get 3 months old piece here.

Yes, costlier than the others in the market. But, you also have to consider what type of work is to be done. For lambda sensor it's better to go for Toyota 3S, which may require some fine tune ups as well ( I guess). And also, it's related to your fuel economy.
Any way it's your choice at the end of the day.

This is for road toll tax in Japan. An amount is automatically deducted from the deposited amount once you pass a scanner installed on highways / roads for toll tax collection.

What would a 3S do with Lambda sensor when they dont know what is it. They dont offer a Lambda sensor in locally assembled Toyotas. Idont understand why do people take their Japanese used cars to 3S dealers, They would service it and source parts locally only. Once they arnt selling thoose vehicles how the on earth would they know how to fix them.

For imported cars they are as blank as a non 3S mechanic., But yes you should definitely find a reliable mechanic.

leaving it for the 3S to make sure nothing goes rong is a wrong idea
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

That's what we are trying to convince. With regards to our cities (Punjab) we hive suggested the best (Toyota 3S) where he may go for this particular job. Other wise, he would struggle to find a good mechanic or end with a mechanic who would pretend to know the job but spoil things rather than fixing.
