    Default Toyota Vitz Owners/Fan Club

The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Toyota Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

The size you are using is very big.And bigger the tire lesser the air pressures should be.

I think you should have pressure 28 in front and 26 back.
Or if you want ecconomy and no comfort.
    30 front 28 back.

More than 30 psi in pakistan will damage your suspension soon.
Honestly! I bought tires of this spec after consulting a lot of Pakwheels member of vitz owner/fan club. I'm not that good in maths but somehow this size has the same ratio (or at least closest to the stock ones). And after using these tires for 3-4 months now I haven't seen much of a difference in acceleration and mileage. People are using even bigger tires than the ones I'm using right now. Hopefully someone, who has better understanding about what it all means, can clear this out for us.

If your tyre is 185/65 .
Then The tire you are using is of almost same height as stock.
So acceleration is not that much effected by this tyre.

However wide tyre have its effect on steering softness.and also effect on acceleration on turns but not on straight road.

However it provides more grip and comfort on long routes.

Also 185 is not that wide that it effects your car performance much.

This tyre size is better because tyres of many good brands are available in market in this size

Yes it is good size if you want 15 inch rims.It is stock size of city.So good brand tires are also available in this brand.
185/60 r15 is also good it is stock size of swift.
But if you want to install 15 inch rims in 1.0 vitz.Make sure you install good light weight alloy rims like original rims of city or swift rather than those heavyweight chineese copy of rims.So that your car performance remains same.

If you install light weight rims in 15 inches of both above sizes. Your car performance increase more than the stock oem size metal rims which are heavy and have almost same height as both above mentioned 15 inches sizes.

Fuel consumption is also very nice ,now a days ,in city ,i am easily getting 16 kml , as average ,and long at 120kmh speed ,Its average was 18, 19 kml ,and if you can bear then at 100kmh speed it will give you 20kml,

Just try to find minimum 4 graded low millage car , mine was 24000 km ,driven ,when i brought .
Indeed. No matter what. In 1.3 million category this car is amazing. Apart from power, swift and city doesn't stand a chance against it. And now a days there are so many new shape vitz. This car is a hit in Pakistani market.

    Dont matter where you are

It will be choked after 80 to 90 thousand km or max 10000

In Pakistan you should not remove it till 75000km
After that it is your own choise

However you should definitely remove it after 85000km otherwise it will harm your engine

Malfunctioning O2 sensors cause the catalytic converter to melt and deshape. This happened to my car. Usually, it's just the bad quality fuel we have here.

Bro you are right ,The major reason is poor quality of fuel ,therefore we should mix high octon in normal super petrol ,Further more as per my low information ,a catalytic converter is built to last at least 10 years. However, due to various reasons, it can give problems before this time period too, but not without giving enough warning signals.
Overheating Due to Thermal Shock ,Loss of Power ,Rattling Noise and poor fuel consumption are basic Symptoms .

Sir did you install cng kit or installed it before and removed now

If yes then they install a pipe in air intake pipe which blocks air intake so that car can work fine on cng
But this decreases power of car on petrole also and check engine light on some time due to faulty air fuel mixture.

Also for steep roads like murre road there is S gear with D for such roads

Even 1.3 cars have to drive on S or D3 gear on such places

If too much steep there is L gear

If there is too much load on car and road is steep to you should dtart with L then when your car gain pace shift it to B then after more speed to S if required

There is no harm in shifting your gears while driving except you are driving at high speed

Bro , I have a question , AS You said there is no harm changing gears except high speed ,so i want to ask that ,some days ago ,i was coming from Islamabad to lahore via motor way ,one of xli geek ,many times tried to tease me ,then i started racing with him ,i was driving my car at 'D' gear , at the top speed of 165km/h , his xli was very parallel to my car , then suddenly i thought ,i may convert gear ''D'' TO ''S'' .,Then i may get a little more from this car .but suddenly i felt a little jerk ,and car didn't get any more speed , Balky i felt thori kam speed par ho gaye . then i again switched it to 'D' .
Now my question is , was it Okay with car transmission ? or some thing we have to learn more ..
Thanks for bearing us , and sharing experiences
