    Default Toyota Vitz Owners/Fan Club

The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Toyota Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

Thanks Nabeel Ali.. Car was tuned from Toyota D.I.Khan motors and the light gone it was faulty Oxygen sensor, get it cleaned and all ok and special thanks to previous post of devil_smile, which helped me a lot in understanding the vitz tuning and other things with prices.

Dear Nabeel.. catalytic is empty, the toyota guy said that filter has been removed.. what is the purpose of catalytic convertor.. Is it Ok if it is absent.. from where i can get it from pindi/Islamabad with price..
the guy said that engine will be less noisy if it is installed... is it correct..?

Abs lights is still On. as we could not find the front left side sensor in whole D.I.Khan.. from where I can get it from pindi/islamabad and also quote the price.. if possible..

Thats great that your check engine light was resolved but due to absence of catalytic converter it will come again because CAT basically stops the the pollutants from contacting the sensors. You can find CAT from scrap markets in Lahore or Rawalpindi it will cost around 6-7k and yea after installing cat your car will be a lot quieter and I mean alot.

And you can also find abs sensor from scrap market don't know about price.

Bro jewella has cosmetics upgrades. It comes in special colours , has brown interior, has more interior lights , chrome on AC knobs, hand brake and interior door handles, better head rest seats, it has white headlamps ( regular vitz has a bit dark smoke effect), it also has chrome grill and chrome lining on doors.
Rest push start and auto lights are optional they can also come in F package like mine has.

Good information but you forgot the most important one. Vitz Jewela is made specifically for the female segment (women) in Japan market.

[QUOTE=ghayyour;5096798]Jewela in chocolate brown and blue for females?!!!!

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk[/Two of the three Vitz trim levels (U, F, and RS) can be had in a special “Jewela” version that adds “exclusive body and interior colors and interior and exterior ornamentation with a plated finish to convey vibrancy,” all favored by the fashion-forward Japanese lady.

When the Vitz turns Yaris and lands on EU and North American shores, it probably will have lost its effeminate accents along the way, and will be available in more manly trims. In Japan, the male Vitz buyer is the target of a sporty RS version with a 1.5 liter engine.

When the Vitz debuted in Japan since January 1999, Toyota ushered in the new age of compact cars, then it was exported in other parts of the world by the names of Yaris and Echo (not to be confused with the Echo sedan in the North American market that is the Platz). In 2005, the Vitz garnered a full redesign and exported globally as the Yaris. That is the point because the Toyota Vitz is a true global compact that targets the likelihood of the Suzuki Swift and the Honda Fit (Jazz).

    2011 Toyota Vitz

Brace yourself and the near end of 2010 marks the beginning of the Vitz's full model change as it reaches its third generation. The new, third-generation, Toyota Vitz is now evolved to become the most fuel efficient compact in its class, outwitting the likes of the Nissan March K13 and the Honda Fit (Jazz) in this category. The new third-generation Toyota Vitz comes in four various variants starting from the Vitz U and the Vitz F

    2011 Toyota Vitz

the stylish Vitz Jewela for the ladies

    2011 Toyota Vitz Jewela

and the aggressive Vitz RS for those who want to taste the extreme.

    2011 Toyota Vitz RS

Depending on the variant, the new Vitz has three engine types available. First is the 1KR-FE VVTi engine (1.0-litre engine) that is the entry level for the new Vitz. This engine has the power output of a frugal 69PS and the fuel economy of 23.0km/L. Second is the 1NR-FE Dual VVTi engine (1.3-litre engine) which has the power output of 95PS and the fuel economy of 24.0km/L (2WD). Last but truly an enthusiasts' favorite was the high-performance 1NZ-FE Dual VVTi engine (1.5-litre engine) that has the power output of 109PS and the fuel economy of 20km/L (CVT). Most Vitz variants are equipped with the Super CVT-i for optimized fuel efficiency but only the extreme Vitz RS is equipped with the 5-speed manual. The RS also comes with the Super CVT-i but what differs is the sporty paddle shifters.

Now, here's the real catch; the Vitz Smart Stop Package has one secret weapon to become the most opulent gas-miser such is the Toyota Stop & Start System (an idling stop system found in the Toyota iQ Go 6MT). The Toyota Stop & Start System allows the 1NR-FE Dual VVTi engine to shut off automatically when not in use. This also applies when your Vitz goes on a brake during a traffic. With the Smart Stop combined, the Vitz has the maximum fuel economy of 26.5km/L! This fuel economy is bound to be the most fuel efficient among compacts with 1.3-litre engines.

    2011 Toyota Vitz interior

With the Vitz now has a new exterior, the change of the Vitz's interior sounds puzzling. The new interior seems to be somewhat complexing and I still like the interior of the second-generation Vitz. However, the new Vitz is covered with the special windows that has a 99% protection against the sun's harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays. When summer comes, you'll be glad to have the Vitz ready.

    My thoughts about the Vitz:
Now on sale in Japan and soon; the rest of the world including the Philippines as the new Yaris! The case is now open for those who want to see the new king of compacts such is the new Toyota Vitz. With the Smart Stop equipped, the new Vitz really puts the Nissan March K13 to shame because of its class no.1 fuel economy of 26.5km/L. The Vitz Jewela is somewhat a feminine type, more like the Ractis (Verso-S) L'epice and the Passo +Hana, because of the attractive front and fancy colors. The Vitz RS is an enthusiasts' favorite because of its extreme attitude but 5 gears wasn't enough to outrun against the Honda Fit RS, now with a 6-speed manual. I'm sure they're ready to get their hands on the new Vitz. Are you ready?

from where to get smart stop 1.5? I have searched good vitz for a month and did not find any good piece in good condition. someone told me to buy jewela and I bought it.... I will now sell this Jewela and will try to find a good 1.5 as I just switched from 1.8 Civic Reborn. so the drive of 1.0 is quite dead.
