    Default Toyota Vitz Owners/Fan Club

The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Toyota Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

Car is good though economy depends upon usage style. Heavy feet drivers consume more fuel than light footed. 1300cc gives 8 to 9 km in city and 14.5 on highway.

The catalog option on the auction website is your best bet. Economy idle is always mentioned

According to this catalog all variants have optional ECO IDLE or Smart Stop, Vitz was actually the first Toyota to have smart stop feature.

Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

I need some help, I'm a noob so you'll need to be patient, I got my 2012 vitz serviced from toyota society motors, after inspection they've made a list of repairs that amount to around 80-85k which is I'm sure a complete ripoff, things like spark plugs for 7k and transmission oil change for 12.5k.

Can someone suggest a workshop where I can get these repairs done for a reasonable price and where I can buy genuine parts preferably toyota made, in Karachi.

P.S I live in north so place close to this would be preferable.

    Hello,

Guys I need your help as I'm a complete noob, I own a 2011 vitz, it just crossed the 50000km mark and I took it in for servicing with toyota society motors, after general inspection they prescribed a list of things that require maintenance which would amount to about 80000rs, which I'm sure would be a ripoff, this includes things like spark plugs replacement for 8000 and transmission oil change for 12500.

Now can you people recommend a mechanic where I could buy these parts for a reasonable price as well as perform these maintenance jobs? plus it would be helpful if you could share the service manual for the car.

P.S I live in north, so a place around here would be preferable.

On the first place, Why did you even sent your car to them? Secondly whats your cars mileage and condition etc.

CVT oil can costs around 4000-6500 depending on where you get it from, Labour can varry from rs.500-2500.

Spark plugs should be avalible in market for around rs.1000 a peice. Tuning at Toyota should cost around 1200-2500. in market somewhere around rs.600

Tuning from Toyota is a wiser option since they use the Toyota Techstream which i think is the only thing that can control the idle vibration on Vitz.

Yes probably just try to find the orignal thing and not a locally repacked box

Vitz has hydraulic toppers. Valen clearence is not a option.
