    Default Toyota Vitz Owners/Fan Club

    The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Toyota Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

    @chinyoti,

    Why dont u try Mr. Farid. His no. is 0304-2293524. He's very experienced and has worked both home and abroad. Maybe he can resolve the vibration problem of your vitz.

    @sun2sunny

    100 km for 55 lit cylinder is not a bad millage in local city conditions, however, it can be bit better by some gas adjustments. Optimum should be around 120 km per cylinder. Remember one thing automatic transmission has more fuel consumption in local driving.

    I have 60 lit cylinder in my 2002 vitz. locally it gives me 130-140 km per cylinder and on long it gives 180-190 per cylinder.

    @Adnan34
    Dear Adnan, Alhamdullilah so far i have felt no reason to go to any mechanic. However, following things were done by Toyota Rawal Motors Rwp:
    1. CNG Installation.
    2. Change of lubricants (atf, break fluid, power steering fluid).
    For normal engine oil/filter change I go to any roadside mechanic, there is no problem in it.

    I visited twice a mechanic near commercial market Rwp only for minor gas adjustment. Other than this I have never gone to any mechanic for anything [Alhamdulillah].

    As I posted in my prevoius post that my ride was rear-ended and bumper and mud-guard have been damaged. For denting painting I'm planning to go to Auto Club in I-10 Islamabad.

    My suggestion is to check your car from Auto Club, they are good. Mr. Mazhar is owner of Auto Club you may contact him.

    @all
    A lot of people have been complaining of vibration. If CNGed vitz' are facing vibration problem then it is most probably due to bad quality CNG, as in winter season gas pressure is not enough so CNG Station people mix air in CNG and this is causing problem. Couple of weeks ago I filled CNG from Gujarkhan and it turned out to be nightmare. my vitz kept on vibrating until that gas was consumed.

    @cfsdEvln

    well i don't advertise but i prefer you walk on jail road. All show rooms sell minimum of 1 or 2 vitz.

    @lovish143

    well my budget is gone down coz i spent money on following things:

    pioneer audio cd player(cd/mp3/wma)=6500rs
    kenwood speakers=4500rs
    rear wheels aluminium spacers=800rs (i think he took much)
    security alarm(button lock etc..)=2200rs
    horn=250rs
    and some expenses on getting these things fitted in my car.

    i told that guy that aluminium will make noise. He assured that it depends on person who fits it. So, he fitted al spacers in rear wheels only. Still i hitted two jumps today

    can't go rawalpindi again
    i think i should put 2 more al spacers in front wheels.

    @all

    my dad says to put cng in my car but i say not

    about money, if we just drive inside our city then i can afford.

    I'm also afraid if i put cng in my car, my car gets into trouble or i will face something bad. What do u say? my vitz model is 2004

    @Adnan34
    Dear do u face trembling/vibration problem on petrol or it is just on CNG? If it is only on CNG then u must refill CNG cylinder from a reputed place, e.g. in Rawalpindi Shell pump on "chairing-cross peshawar road" is good. If you face vibration even on petrol then u can either go to Toyota Rawal or Auto club.

    @Raja01
    Please seek an expert's opinion before putting in any more spacers, as it may cause poor road grip etc which can be dangerous.
