how to check the car... pay an experienced mechanic... and take him with you... or help from islo pakwheelers..
the problem is not our govt... its the people..

Hey ! i came to know a technique that any authorized Toyota Dealer can inspect the car for you. take the car to the dealer and they will take rs. 1000 to tell you the original condition of the car's engine and other stuff i.e. present condition and take rs. 2000 for complete inspection including the paint monitoring

    all parts are available
est price is 8-850 for an outstanding car with cng
cultus has resale, economy and easy maintenance - vitz has safety and driving comfort
unless the car is in an outstanding condition i wouldn't recommend ... working parts have a life now a 9 yr car will be asking for replacement of a lot of parts

some suggestions i've already given plus the fact that 05 vitz cannot be converted on cng so if u afford petrol it is ok otherwise its economy would be around 12-13 kmpl w/0 ac in city

i can help u check the car, its engine or body but you'll have to bring it to me
you can check the engine yourself but body checking needs experience so better not do it go to denter and he'll do it for u .. i can give u reference of a mechanic and a denter (bot in pindi saddar area) who will do it for free .. call me if you need my help .. 03335109707

i w'd not recommend 660cc cars .. seriously under-powered and not much of economy either .. best you'll gt is 14-15 kmpl in city w/o ac .. vitz would be a better choice over 660cc .. try finding a low mileage (around 50k) , pristine condition vitz may it be 2000 model ... otherwise buy vitz or mira as an experiment and sell after sometime

I would recommend a Mira (unless you are a youngster and need power etc). Good economy, nowadays lot of import and on the roads (at least in karachi), part r becoming available anr good mileage on petrol. Just make sure u get a good one (dont let the denter and dealer shake hands.. a lot can happen in that time esp if u dont know the denter well.. a wink, a tight sqeeuze etc means dealer will pay denter 5k if car sells hence denter will misguide you. )
