MashAllah and congrats! Very good decision! I Love the way jdm drives.. the feel is so awesome! so smooth!
You haven't mentioned the milage of the car... People does change engine oil, air filter, fuel filter, plugs, brake fluid, tyres etc of the car upon purchase and its a good practise... however tansmission fluid replacement depends on the milage, I will recommend u to change it as mostly these Jap cars are 1 Lac + KMs driven when imported and there meters are reversed here! Trust me on that!

And well.. if by any chance its ATF wasn't replaced in Japan, then its already overdriven and screwing up ur transmission.. so go ahead and change it! HOWEVER! Only go for its original Toyota ATF!! Never go for any more expensive or cheap ATF, no ZIC no nothing!! Ur transmission would just blow off! Azmai hui baat ha! No panga with the ATF!

    Good luck!

i think not every car has a reversed meter ( based on personal experience)..it depends on the IMAN of importer. i self imported my vitz with the help of a friend, from auction. 43.5k on odo. with its maintainance hx. and auction sheet.
but obviously cars with less miles on odo are expensive as compared to cars with more miles on odo.

Congrats on your purchase. Go to Yousaf autos Kashmir road, the person there will take care of the transmission oil change at the spot. Oil costs little over 4000/- Toyota cvt oil labour around 1000/- I also recently got my 1.3 vitz oil changed from him, absolutely satisfied. As far knocking is concerned u have to live with it. I had a 1.0 for three years sometimes used to drive in S mode to get rid of knocking other use use hi octane but its too expensive, atleast for me.

    Congrats on the purchase.

Go to Toyota Capital Islamabad and get the 40k KM checkup. They'll replace the transmission oil with no labor charges as its a 40k checkup (ATF if its an AT transmission or CVT-TC if its a CVT transmission), get the throttle body cleaned, check the condition of plugs, put in a new air filter, change engine oil and oil filter.

To get rid of knocking get 30% hi-octane from the mall PSO or panj sarki SHELL (opposite PC) and remaining 70% super.

p.s This would be your only visit to Toyota as after that its just regular maintenance which anyone can do (oil changes etc). It cost me roughly 15k when I took my Axio there.

I agree to that, but in market where 90% people import accidented cars, repair them and sell them, ot is very difficult for an honest person to beat their prices or make a decent/fair profit out of the deal...
Sad to say, but even one of my own friends do this meter reverse thing... he has sold many accidented cars( no chasis damage, usually sides damaged) and reversed their 200,000 + meters to 70,000 and 60,000Kms etc.... Yup, bohat say logon ka koi emaan nahi, bohat say logon ka emaan kamzor hai....

people put it as an excuse k g meter reverse karae baghair gari bikti nahi aur kharcha nikalta nahi... thats what my friend says...
each and every customer is looking for a 10,000Km chali hui car in his own limited budget... phir tou yehi hoga..! Unless u selfimport which is a great way!

u r ryt. i agree with ur opinion .if we all settle for a low profit .then it wont b a problem..people do reverse meter.for large profit margin.but haram is haram even it is single ruppee.thats y ii mentioned dat i self imported with the help of my friend from auction not from dealer.
