It is a hassle free one day job... Just get a very good electrician for the job as all depends on him in the end...

    Required items:

    Engine+ ecu + uncut wiring...

Engine will cost you around 30 k without adjusting your engine... If you go for Engine + transmission, 60 k...

You will be able to utilize most of the stuff from your 1szfe since they are basically the same engine...

If you are going to change the transmission too then that may take a while and effort... and of course your desired transmission..

It is a very successful swap and many have done it... Power plus economy all the way...

    Best of luck..

    Cheers
Driving is not about going from point A to point B, it is the point...

Any engine will run on CNG as long as the transmission is the conventional 4 speed forward automatic and NOT CVT (Continuously variable transmission)...

If you will be using the same gearbox from your car (automatic 4 speed forward)... Then CNG can be installed...

    Cheers...

    Dear Saad,

I haven't done the swap myself but I have been doing my research for about 8 months now...

I am now going for a 1nz fe swap with manual transmission by the end of this month...

All I am giving you is theoretical and the actual accomplishment is achievable if and only IF you

    1) Find a good engine and ancillaries.
    2) An honest and good mechanic and electrician.
    3) A big pocket because small things tend to come into the light when doing such things.

All in all, Allah ke naam se shuru karo... InshAllah it ll be all good...

P.S: I ll text you, if you need any more help..

    Cheers...

Engine swaps are generally not easy job in Pakistan due to the illiterate and jugaari ustad type mechanics. Also if you swap your engine, then your resale will go down drastically and there won't be many people buying your car. Vitz has complex ECU and wirings, search in vitz owner club, there are many people crying for many issues with their stock setup and yet to find the solution. Thanks to mechanics.

Only go for swap if you feel you have complete knowledge about swap (ECU+Wiring+Engine installation, etc). Agar kuch ni pata to phir never think of swapping. Here is what you need to swap:-

    1- ECU
    2- Engine
3- Transmission (Not sure that your current transmission can work with 1.3
4- Axles (Generally you need to change them as well during swap)

I suggest you to go to Mithu Khan in Chah Sultan (Rawalpindi) and ask the price of all above items. Generally they will be something around 60K + 10K For Electrition + 15K for Mechanic+10K for Petrol+oil+other fluids +20K for reserve and 'chota mota' items.

I have seen people have done complete swaps in around 50K in karachi shershah market (1.0 to 1.3 only without transmission change). But in Islamabad and Rawalpindi parts are tooooooo expensive and mechanics are even more expensive. So if you have 100K in your pocket only then think of swap. Also don't sell your engine before swap, only sell your existing engine once swap is complete and you are damm sure everything is working. If not then you can simply ask them to re-install the old one.

One more thing, kitna hi ghatiya aur murdar engine ho, sirf 200 rupy ka mitti ka tail lagaoo uspy aur chooty ho 50 rupy mazdoori do, engine aaisa chamak jata hy jaisy ky abi toyota company walo ny bana ky dukan py rekha howa ho, there are lots of cheaters tooo so always ask for warranty written on invoce with all the terms and condition on invoice as well.

Warna baad my har koi mukar jata hy jab dead engine wapis kerny jaoo
