Engine swaps are generally not easy job in Pakistan due to the illiterate and jugaari ustad type mechanics. Also if you swap your engine, then your resale will go down drastically and there won't be many people buying your car. Vitz has complex ECU and wirings, search in vitz owner club, there are many people crying for many issues with their stock setup and yet to find the solution. Thanks to mechanics.
Only go for swap if you feel you have complete knowledge about swap (ECU+Wiring+Engine installation, etc). Agar kuch ni pata to phir never think of swapping. Here is what you need to swap:-
1- ECU
2- Engine
3- Transmission (Not sure that your current transmission can work with 1.3
4- Axles (Generally you need to change them as well during swap)
I suggest you to go to Mithu Khan in Chah Sultan (Rawalpindi) and ask the price of all above items. Generally they will be something around 60K + 10K For Electrition + 15K for Mechanic+10K for Petrol+oil+other fluids +20K for reserve and 'chota mota' items.
I have seen people have done complete swaps in around 50K in karachi shershah market (1.0 to 1.3 only without transmission change). But in Islamabad and Rawalpindi parts are tooooooo expensive and mechanics are even more expensive. So if you have 100K in your pocket only then think of swap. Also don't sell your engine before swap, only sell your existing engine once swap is complete and you are damm sure everything is working. If not then you can simply ask them to re-install the old one.
