Default Which one would be a wise buy out of Vitz 1.3L & Vitz 1.0L? (2011 model)

    My usage: Mostly within Lahore
Out of City travel: Very less (once in a 3 months)

I know apparently 1.0L appears to be a better option but people have suggested to me to get 1.3L to be at ease for longer out of city routes whenever required.

    NEED SUGGESTIONS. Thanks

Thanks.....why did u get a 1.3L instead of 1.0L? because of long distance driving requirement?

My 1.3l vitz has a lot more power than 1.0l and the mileage is almost the same... 1.3l gives me slightly better mileage.

Thank you...Your law i must say is very logical.....does your last line suggest that 1.3l will be equivalent in fuel economy to 1.0l when used till the full limit of 1.0l??

on paper things look easier,, you have to find a good car in good price that should be trouble free, this is difficult

techinically yes. smaller and bigger engine produce equal power to pull certain weight. if you increase passengers, mileage drops. if you go near engine red line , mileage drops. if you reduce standard tire psi , mileage drops, if air fuel ratio goes out on engine mileage.. plus so many other factors, like wind pressure, speed, etc etc.

1.0l had a very sad drive. it was really under powered plus i was not getting the fuel mileage i should be getting for sacrificing so much power.

These are the engine codes of 1.0L and 1.3L versions ... There is another 1.3L version 2nzfe which comes coupled with AWD train. It has better traction but is a little less fuel efficient

I have the 2nz-fe vitz, there is not that much mileage difference. i still am getting better mileage than 1.0l
Expect this mileage from your car
    Local : 10-12 (with AC)
High way : 14-16 (with AC)
