I bought a replacement clock spring for my corolla 09 from shershah in Karachi for 4500 about 6 months ago, last week it stopped working. I asked toyota dealership and they quoted 22k for the clock spring and 2k for installation. What should I do?
Get another Kabli one , there must be a market in Karachi where they will sell. Will cost around 3k Maximum
thats what I am saying I bought a kabli one and it hardly worked only for 6 months.
these coils have pretty much life if u dont unfix ur steering wheel pretty much and if u do do take care of the position of it All cars which have air bag in their steering have this coil u can easily get from any kabli spare part shop
Install properly and ensure that the ribbon has required length.Should last long..
old used parts can be stretched as the steering column assemblies slop around. My usual cost for these items were Rs 200/- as I was the one weirdo in a jump suit with leather gloves rummaging through piles of stuff in godowns.
