Default Have anyone tried 0W-20 engine oil in Passo/Vitz/Belta?

I know what would be the answer, but as the manual of 1KR-FE recommends to use 0W-20. So have anyone tried this oil yet in their Passo, Vitz, Belta or similar cars that has 1KR-FE engine?
Manual says it is the best oil for fuel economy.
And presently this oil is available only in Kixx 0/20 Synthetic oil with SCI as 5K and price is Rs. 2860/4L.

    Yes why not.
For ZIC OW, 0/30, sci is 6K (better if you change the oil filter after 3K, otherwise leppon's filters are good till 6K also).
ZIC XQ 5/40 is for longer change intervals. You can use it and keep the change interval as 8K but change oil filter after 4K for better performance.

Presently am using LM5/40 and already done 4.5K on it. Its still as good as ideal. But I changed the oil filter after 4k and will change the oil after 8K (if I have that car till now, because am selling it soon). (smile).

But never feed 10W or 15W or 20W oil in your passo. These are not very compatible for this engine.

i hv checked different Vitz manuals but didn't find any of it recommending 0W-20, everywhere 5w-30 is recommended for Vitz. Don't know why you are adding Vitz in this range, may be Passo manual recommends this grade.

Yeah u r rite, engine is same. but for Vitz 5w-30 is recommended in manual.
And what i read, 0w is for colder regions like Sweden, Finland, etc . For Asia, 5w is recommended for moderate temp.

You also mentioned somewhere that people in Houston use 0w/5w20 on highway driving. Does Houston have stop and go traffic like here in pak?
