Default Vitz pickup issue after tappets adjust

I have recently had my head tappets adjustment from Time Engineering Neela Gumbad after hearing from almost 4 to 5 mechanics that its tappets are tight. Head was removed and two out of sixteen valves replaced and others grinded as required. The problm i was facing is now totally removed. ie vibration like missing at cold engine. Engine sound seems also to be good enough.
BUT PICK SEEMS TO BE LESSER THAN BEFORE.
    Any suggestions please.

    check the valve clearances properly.

And good luck with that, because you just ruined your valves by grinding them.

    I agree with Xulfiqar.

If your car is smooth then probably bad timings, bad CVT oil.

Timing Chain should be changed only if it starts to give weird noises, its mostly like a air pressure pipe on loose at high revs. Once a fielder started to give timing chain noise at high revs and we were in naran, came back easily to isb with no performance issues.

It does need require replacement for life.

I have recently sold a 2002 Se Saloon Auto with 305,000 km on factory timing chain.

If you have done proper oil changes, the chain is pretty long life. But do check for slack - align the timing marks and check how much off they are. If they are off by more than 4 degrees then replace the chain.
