Leave it dont get depressed. Ask your guy who sold you the engine to replace this ECU this is automatic you definately need manual. I ended up doing the same else car cant maintain many things accordingly ECU does not see your car moving, constant check light, possible Limp mode, Most important Change it immediately, Google the ecu number compatable for this engine then search it. Else you cant have good power, econom.

Depressing but you got to do it rite.

I am seeing that people see swaps as "amazing cool" to own and have but they come at a price - you would have to become a mechanic of sorts to live with the car.

    Very true!
Gone are the times when petrol to diesel conversions were done easily by every tom dick and harry because they required practically just two wires to hook up.
The newer petrol engines have brains. And sadly, they are more intelligent than most of our electricians.

Was just getting excited with your ride. Anyway i would recommend copper spark plugs but you can also go for iradium ones. not to big of a deal. i have installed copper ones in my ride. for Engine oil ask @Xulfiqar and what problem are you facing in regards to pressure cylinder?

Here are the plugs for the 1sz-fe. NGK BKR5E is easily available everywhere.

    <a href="http://imgur.com/WzUUJxf"><img src="http://i.imgur.com/WzUUJxf.png" title="Hosted by imgur.com" /></a>

About the oil, the oil that you're using is too thick and is usually employed when the engine is too worn out. The recommended oil for the 1sz-fe is 5w-30.
