Default Toyota Vitz | Using a 15 inch tyre

    Dear All

I have a toyota vitz 2010 and it comes with standard 14inch stock tyres. I have a very basic question, is it a good idea to upgrade to 15 inch alloy wheels or should I stick to 14 inches? Please also let me know the reasons behind your verdict

Brother the thing is that if u want wider tyres then 15 inch rims will look good and if u are going 15 inch rims and would be using 185 than its no point as 185 65 R14 is the recommended size for vitz.

So if you're planning to let comfort go and are ready to have looks and grip at high speed than u need to have 15 inch rims otherwise u don't need them.

Thanks I think I'd rather go with 14 inch rims then because comfort is my first priority and one cant call me a high speed freak either

185/65/R15 shall increase ride height slightly (good for bumps). You have the option of using alloys or jdm stepnies with this size of tires. I would recommend jdm stepnies if you're on a budget and want fuel economy too.

go for it, cons are very less as compared to pros.

I have 195/60/15 toyo tires in my ride and suffer from noise issue.

What's the reason. I crossed all 4 tires and sound is even louder

Thread is around 80% and manufacture year is 2012 04.
