Question Toyota Vitz 1999 Pick & Load problem

    Hi,

I have toyota vitz 1999. I got the transmission oil replaced about 3 months back. As per the manual (found on internet), I used Toyota T-IV auto transmission fluid. After the oil is replaced, I can clearly feel that car is taking more power to speed up & I have to push the paddle a lot to accelerate the car. Even on petrol I have to push the accelerator a lot. Moreover, the steering wheel becomes harder sometimes. The ATF is also a lot dirty now.

I believe all these problems are because of the ATF change, but not much sure about this. Can you guys please tell me if ATF can cause such problems or not? If ATF is not the source of these problems, what else can be the reason?

    Waiting for some quick help.

    Thanks.

Air filter is replaced when I changed the engine oil (~2000km). I often get it clean though.
However, about the catalytic converter I am not much sure if that is the root of the problem. In case, this is the converter causing the problem, can it be repaired or will I have to install a new one? Do you have some idea of the prices?
