Unhappy Vitz 2007 Jerks whien applying break and release to accelrate!

    Aoa,

I have some problem with my ride when I apply brake in my Toyota Vitz 2007 and release the break, it feels like some invisible brake is still applied. If I do not accelerate after releasing break, the car jerks after some time as if the invisibly applied break is removed. This does not happen every time but some days this happens more frequently.

I thought this could be a transmission problem and changed transmission fluid, Engine Oil change, Air Filter, Throttle body clean, break service, NGK laser spark plugs even with Hi-Octane refill (as i always use to add some). At first i thought it solved the problem but issue still exists.

What could be wrong with my car? Your help is highly appreciated

    Thanks

I think these cars r designed to sense tht brakes are applied so when u release the brake the brakes r release but if u notice the rpm reeves up a little. So as to control the speed with transmission. (Same science when u drive in low gear in manual transmission on slopes).
My vitz 2006 does the same. It keeps the car in controlled deceleration even after the brakes are released.
But tht shud not give jerks. Mine gives a v v v minute jerk smtymes.

    Hi Muradi,

Dear there's no catalytic converter.Unfortunately, it was removed by Toyota Mechanic which is not recommended.Mileage is up to 72,000 and yes it vibrates on D sometimes.

    Thanks

Bro i have diagnosed all mounting and they are perfect but I notice when i don't add Hi-Oct then there are too many jerks.Secondly, my vitz vibrates when i steer, pressing horn, opening/closing windows/mirrors.I don't know what's wrong with it. May be Battery issue? Electrifier weaken? Because, i have installed HIDs, Sound System with AGS 65 AMP wet battery around 6,7 months old.

    Please let me know

    Thanks

Check your auto choke & sensor, how is the starting in the morning? If not smooth you should check tappets. By the way CNG installed?

    @asadilyas.acca
Thanks for your reply.Nope, only petrol. You know one thing i couldn't find any Tech-y Mechanic who can diagnose it properly.Only they know about clearing errors through Scanner and some other crap about checking things here and there

Even i have tried Dry Bosch,Hankook,ACdelco all batteries + Generator is also fine with electrifiers.

Can you please suggest me any expert mechanic in Lahore?
That would be great and much appreciated.

    Thanks

Bro I wish you were in Peshawar, I would have suggested you some good mechanics, anyhow why don't you check the tappets? Sometimes due to dust and other particles tappets and camshafts goes out of alignment that disturb the timing as well. I think that might be tappet problem. How is the starting in morning?

Asad, starting in morning is normal but when you place gear position to D then it starts doing this.Recently, i just met with an experienced mechanic. He said, timing foundation is weak and fuel injectors need to check by Lab etc.

    Still confused

    Thanks
