    Default Toyota Vitz "Dart"

    Toyota Vitz &quotDart" -1595349

Asalamoalaikum Dear Friends! After painstaking deliberations I finally sold Hornet (a brand new 2015 Corolla GLi AT) over which I tried uselessly to wrap my head around but couldn't quite convince myself to keep it.
Saved some greens for future and on 27th of Ramadhan, by the grace of Almighty Allah, He has blessed me with Dart (2013 Toyota Vitz 1.0L in white colour). Join in to like/dislike, contribute and share your experiences or views about this new purchase.

I was hoping to get a lower profile look but don't want to any further than 185/60-R15 to 195/55-R15. By the way anyone with the latter profile would like share his "honest" experience with regards to ride quality, comfort and noise? I won't ask for cornering and handling as with that profile and a decent set of tyres, they should come in naturally.

Not the gold garnishing necessarily but the chrome and black garnish.

    TIP OF THE DAY...

If u found any vitz less than 40-50 k driven in local market (unreg), triple check the car for reverse meter readings....and ofcourse other repairs..

Vitz is mostly used by males in Japan, It is used for job purpose and intercity travels, it is also a inspiration for youngsters... Kind of YO car... Most of the 2012, 2013 cars are around 40-60k driven...

Passo is mostly used for home purposes and ladies and these are less driven, you will find many 2012 models around 10-20 k driven and even less...

Dr Nawaz, I am seriously beginning to get the impression that you've done your specialization in Vitz and Passo (It's a compliment sir due to the good knowledge you have and are sharing on this forum). Anyways, my dealer was kind enough to show me his invoice also upon my request. Alhamdolillah, I was happy that the odometer reading was not fiddled with.
But heck, even if it were, I'm enjoying every bit of it.
By the way, I've got a confession to make. All this time, I've been anti-JDMs due to various reservations and concerns. I had not actually driven one before except for few here and there short hauls. But now, I'm impressed. The Japs really do justice with their people, may it be laws, motivation, desire to strive and maintain standards or just plain morals/ethics unlike PKDM manufacturers.

Man That interior is just Awesome, I never liked Jewela because of that brownish interior and the fact that it might be driven by some Chi pa poi women in Japan . But This thing is another level, That interior surely has Class.

Checked up with few vendors and all they could come up with was third grade fibre molded body kits and Pakistan made spoiler. Don't know where I could get the ABS plastic ones.

See and decide for yourself. Its not just the look, there surely must be a difference in quality of materials and obviously the comfort level apart from that sedan like look. The Passo interior while not bad, in fact I'd say its good is more focused to be utilitarian. Personally, I think you can't go wrong with either.

Well, keeping the personal likes n dislikes apart, Passo isn't a bad car at all but somehow I was never appealed by its cosmetics and it has probably the funniest odo meter I've ever seen. One damn odo dial has all the warning lights placed into it as if they had space restrictions. I mean comparing the shape Vitz with any model Passo would be an injustice, especially the 2011 onwards Vitz. But let me tell u that Passo is making her place in market to compete Vitz and it is being well accepted coz of being a Toyota child .. u can't deny this fact. It will take some time though
