Default 2010 Vitz ignition issue ! Help

Hey guys. i have an issue with my vitz 2010. Something wrong with the starter. The ignition key turns, theres a single sound of starting then nothing happens. What do you think ? Could it be something wrong with the starter itself? After few tries it starts. Battery is new so problem is not the battery. It has been doing this lately. its mileage is around 1lac 10 thousand kilo metre. engine is clean and new. Let me know what to do. yaani in urdu you can say, " sulph phasta hai"

the bushings of the starter motor are probably worn out. Have the starter motor checked by a proper mechanic. hopefully your problem will get solved.

thanx for replying bro. Today i got it checked. I realized the battery was a year and a half old and mechanic checked battery voltage was a bit weak. So i got a new battery now. Hopefully in a few days if theres still a problem it will show.

    how its going now?
    any updates?

BTW did mechanic told you that how much volts of battery are? because if there is plus/minus 1 volt, then it still brings no issues in starting. But if the voltage are 10 or less at idle state, then it can be a problem.

some people check battery voltages before starting & after, with head lights on & off, with AC on & off.
Then they take final observation that either the battery will stay or should replace.

Hey yeah its been many days now its working fine. Mechanic checked the voltage it was low. i dont remember the number though. But this battery has a green mark when it turns to white it means its dead, it was white. These are batteries which dont need water i suppose. Kher the cars running fine now.
