Default Blue Smoke/Engine Burning Oil Vitz 2010

Salam: I owned Toyota Vitz 2010 in 2013 which was driven 23K according to ODO meter and now it is around 80K. Few days before I noticed during weekly checkup that car exhausts blue smoke when I raised its RPM to 35000, I also noticed that it reduce Engine Oil to 0.2 - 0.4 Liters during first 1000 KMs.

I Checked it to Toyota Islamabad motors they said that Engine required overhauling and Piston rings needs to be changed.
Same wording listens from other reliable mechanics.

Both persons also suggest to replace engine.

The current Engine is 1KR-FE 1.0L. The condition is very good. Good mileage, no vibration, no extra sound very smooth driving with or without A/C. I always use HI-Octane (never Mix with super). Use 20w-50 Zic Engine oil. Also check plugs they are also fine.

Kindly suggest how can I save my existing Engine or what do you people think to overhauling it or replace with same one or 1.3L ?

i dont think youll be able to get good quality replacement parts if you intend to go for an overhaul..better to swap the engine.

an overhaul is only recommended if you know of a reliable source who can get the work done cleanly and with OEM parts. A swap isn't suggested as you have to change it on the registeration book as well and one can never be too sure about the condition of the engine being put in. First things first, check as to why this happened, some thing must have gone wrong, the cooling system is to be thoroughly checked, also check if there is oil in the radiator.

I also use Zic A, Zic A+, LM 10w - 40 bit the result is same.

I checked with OBD scanner the RPM is not static it is between 695 - 710 RPM

Ok so lets check with Compression check.

By the way What is the estimated cost in Islamabad of valve Seal ?

    Compression test is OK

I used caltex coolant, the coolant level in bottle some times goes down a little bit after long driving or usually if check after 15 days but
    Never heat-up.

Coolant shouldn't decrease, something is wrong, get it analysed and resolve that first. Any engine problem doesn't come without reason, these cars are meant to be driven on mixed, high octane and super, pure high octane is not recommended without advancing its timing. This might have caused your problem

Get it Overhauled from Rehman Auto's with warranty. 0311-4451670. Make sure you get the vehicle checked from them first and get it briefly diagnosed before rebuild.

Try to have it from Rawalpindi Sadar. Before you buy check the following:
    - Remove the oil filler cap and see inside. It must be neat, clean and in original new look or golden in color.
    - Look into the intake side of the cylinder head. If heavy deposits of black thick layered carbon is seen, don't buy it. Ask the shop keeper to show you another engine. Go as long as you get an excellent engine. If it is neat and is light brown in color, it is healthy engine.
    - Carefully examine the engine all around for any break, crack or broken parts, for example oil pan, cylinder block assembly, head assembly and like wise.
    - Ask the shop keeper to remove all the spark plugs. They all should be neat and dry brown in color. All spark plugs numbers should be the same.
    - Make a deal with the Kabuli fuel injectors and igniters as well.
    Good Luck.
