Angry EPS(electric power steering) on vitz 2004 ?

Aoa i have a vitz 2004(1st gen) the problem is its hardened power steering(hydraulic). I went to the mechanic, he asked me to replace the pump i replaced it but didn't noticed any changes(not even slight changes). I went to the mechanic again he said the power steering gear train is also faulty so I've decided not to spend on old technology but to install EPS (electronic/electric power steering system) that comes in 2005+ models.

Will that fit into this model(2004 that I own) ?

Need your opinions of cost/installations etc will the EPS fit accordingly?
    What will be the cost?
Has anyone tried putting on EPS in an older gen vitz i.e 99 to 2004 ? Need answers "

EPS are softer but not as reliable as Hydraulic ones.

with your type of maintenance (not investing in old technology) I would suggest to scrap the car and buy a "modern technology" car

dude - instead of throwing money at the problem based on hawaee fire and tukkebaazi, why not diagnose it first, that way you know what to spend money on.

I already checked with 3 mechanics all said its due to faulty steering gear train some suggested to change entire gear train some suggested to go for service of that steering box so I just want opinions of ppl having same issues
