    Default Radiator Flush Recommendation

AoA. I have decided to flush the existing coolant and refill with new coolant. Many people suggest to get the radiator and water body cleaned before fully replacing the coolant. As i dont to want to mess with the pipes radiator etx ( no leaks ) i want to use coolant system cleaning chemical. I have searched through the market and found many different flushing chemicals but confused which one is the best.

Any suggestions ? Car is Vitz (1KR-FE) and Location is Lahore

Locate a wall underneath radiator that is used to drain coolant then use a product called flusher comes to clean the radiator. That is used after draining coolant. Drain water on cool engine pour flusher run engine for some while do not drive then drain flusher and pour new coolant in radiator

If your system is not rusted, oxidised or in any other way beat to hell - like oil in the cooling system due to headgasket failure and you had been using coolant all its life - just drain the coolant, flush the block and heater from the provided pipes behind the engine and fill it up with fresh coolant.

The best cooling system flush procedure has been described by mercedes benz in their service manuals and I use it on every brand of car if it requires a cooling system cleanup.

Their way is to use a 10% solution of citric acid in the cooling system.

If you like it that way, do it that way........if someone decides to go the DIY route, don't discourage him

The acid cleaning usually road side rockets do destroys radiator cleaning it with H2SO4. Citric acid method 10% is DIY.
