    Default Battery replacement

Hello car enthusiasts. I have to change my 2012 vitz battery. Which one should I go for. Hankook dry cell or the normal water based local battery. Your advice will be really appreciated. Thank you.

Whichever you buy, make sure that you check the manufacturing date printed on the battery. I'd suggest you to go for a flooded lead acid battery since dry / maintenance free batteries have a slightly different charging/discharging behaviour and your car's alternator may not be ideal for charging a dry / maintenance free battery. Plus, buy the battery DRY (without acid). Fill it up yourself. Buy distilled water and acid along with the battery separately. Mostly battery sellers use tap water for diluting acid in the battery which destroys the long term life of the battery.

dry would give you roughly the same life as liquid cell, ( but ofc, youll be saved from the hassle of looking up water levels here and then )
