Thread: Engine vibrate at idle

    Default Engine vibrate at idle

    AOA - This morning i have forgot to turn off the parking lights resulted the battery to lost all the power. when i found it this evening.
    i got my car jumped start , which went easily.however now when i put my car on N and getting slow on D on any signal and stuff the engine starts vibrating resulting the whole car to be throbbing. however asap i press a little accelerator pedal, the vibration stops. also there is no vibration while i m driving. the problem occurs only when i stop my car with engine stars. kindly assist. thanks you

    Hi umer i am not an expert but had a corolla 2003 it had same kinda problem. I went to toyata gt motors to solve the problem. They cleaned the throttle body and replaced some of its part. Running smooth since then...... better to check ur throttle body..... but the battery issue can also lead to some computer fault. U must should inspect ur car by a obd sensor

    Some told me about it

    U have a vitz right..... they are mostly automatic...
    If it is a manual then check ur pressure plate.. beacuse as u said it is giving u problems when ur car is at idle position..

    Its just ECU reset, should be ok with a few runs. I faced the same problem a week ago after battery replacement, tried Idle Learn Procedure from a forum post here and it worked for me
