Thread: My 2zz-ge Vitz sleeper.

    Default My 1.8L 2zz-ge Vitz sleeper.

    Hi Everyone,

    In October 2014 I got a 2ZZ-GE VVTL-i(1.8L with 187hp) swap done on my 1.0L 1KR JDM Vitz. Never got the time to post the pics and details but finally here they are. Also this is up for sale!!
    The setup:


    1) 2zz with C60 6-speed manual.

    2) JDM M/T ECU

    3) 2.5" Shortram intake with K&N filer.

    3) 2.25" straight pipe exhaust. (later a turbo muffler was installed)

    4) Bigger radiator with two fans.

    5) Tein fully adjustable coil-overs

    6) Lenso LS-GT ultra light weight wheels.


    The engine sits on the original mounting areas with slight mods done to the mounts themselves. A new mount was also added to the front of the engine. All this was done without making any permanent changes to the vehicle frame.

    By engine balance ....i mean if there are any vibrations due to the modifications done to the engine mounts...you know how the engine sometimes doesnt sit right..? Speaking of vibrations...wht did u do to the axels p

    No there are no vibrations! there are four mounts for the engine, and that is more than enough to hold it in place.Under hard acceleration when traction is good the exhaust manifold knocks against steering box. To fix that I have brought a engine damper from the US but never got to install it(see the picture above) Axels are from an old Corolla and very easily available stuff. AC is working fine.     What a nice setup and you hide it for this much time. I also planed to swap this engine.

    Did you get this engine from front cut? Engine & ECU is out from which variant/model? From where you bought this engine? Swap & wiring was done from where?

    You used C60 6-speed manual transmission, can you share a picture of the gear stick because in normal a car have 5-speed manual gear stick. Which gear stick and cables you used in your setup? I think you can understand what I am trying to say.

    And why are you selling such a good setup?
