    Default Vitz Inner Detailing

    Aoa guys,
    Hope everybody is doing great!

I was looking to clean my vitz internally over a period of time but cost for inner detailing is high over here in Islamabad.

Me being a keen learner to do things myself rather than a local market guy
I asked few memebers on PW to help regarding detailing to tell me about tools needed, stuff etc: but was not of much use.
Finally, i took the matter in my own hands and decided to do the detailing.
First step was to buy tools for which i first visited sultan ki kho but was of no use, then went to babu mohalla and got desired tools from ameen hardware store.
I used tide, surf excel, miguars detailing and brushes etc.

I couldn't take much pictures as i was working all alone and also there was chance of rain but did take few snaps.
If anybody wants my help in detailing details, i would be happy to share

    Thank youName: ImageUploadedByPW Forums1470579143.636426.jpg

Really good work. How much time did you take for disassembly + cleaning + reassembly? Any special tools needed for the work?

You must be exhausted. Have a nice long nap before Monday.

Disassembling took almost 3 hours, as this was my first time so didn't know few tricks, cleaning of floor took almost an hour or so, carpets etc 1.5 hour so in total cleaning was worth of 2-3 hours, and reassembling took almost 1.5 hours as i knew every trick by then 😬

You need star shaped screwdriver for disassembling major part of vitz, in hardware store language its called "E10 ki goli" , please see attached picture for reference. And you need 14 mm nut bolt for unswcewing other screws.
You need to take of rubber caps almost 20 in number in different places on floor, they help you drain off water while washing.
Yes sir I am tired for sure! But watching my car back in original shape was totally worth it and satisfactory 😊
