    Default Oil level

    When I bought my vitz before 15 days. I changed oil but i thnk shop wala overfilled it
    Can some body check this. I made traveling more than 1500 kms but there is no chage in oil.

    Please tell me what is danger of this level of oil. Smoke can come from exahst?

    yes it is over filled.

    if you are using it in the city it should be fine. how much oil did u put in it?

    why is your radiator cap open?

    About the oil level...it has to be checked when the car is parked for sometime...I think you have check it right after driving the car.

    About the coolant...you need to check the level in the water reservoirbottle, on the bottle min. and max level are clearly marked.

    I m not confirmed.oil changer himself put and he said now its ok.
    I was in very hurry. I did not checked that time

    Can any body tell me. That what is process of coolant extra bottle. I tried to google. But my desi mind can not undestand.
    So if we have coolant short in radiator, can radiator suck from plastic bottle

    Sorry i am 1st time driving used car. So thats why unaware of basic things. I am living abroad there we are usually going for service from company itself so never asked or checked technical things

    oh phir aap kay oil change karnay walay nay ghaalti ke hai....umm better get some oil removed from it...warna seals khaarab hoo jayati hain...specially at high speed.

    As for the coolant bottle...if the radiator cap is good and there is not leakage in the pipe/or bottle cap, it should suck water from the reservoir bottle.

    hopefully not...but yes one should not drive a car with more engine oil than what is required.

    Thanks man. Actually these mechnics i dnt understand. He will filling more and he told me that "thora filters me jay ga". But i was not expecting this much qunatity

    Have never kept a Vitz...but I think usually they require 3-4l of engine oils (depending on the size of engine 1000cc or 1300cc). Owners of the Vitz can confirm the exact quantity of oil which is required.

    vitz need 3.5l of oil as far as i remember.
    remove some oil if its more then req quantity

    You need 3litres for a 1000cc vitz and 4 litres for 1300cc vitz

    I always get my oil changed from Caltex Genuine Fuel pump, i buy Caltex Fully Synthetic from them and get it changed from them.
    my car is Passo 2011 (1KR-FE) sam engine as your Vitz , and oil used is about 3.25 ltr (with Oil Filter also repalced)

    I also never kept a Vitz, but owned two Passo's (1KR-FE)

    My oil change workshop(renowned one in bahria town islamabad) pours only 3 litres with filter replaced, i discussed that you should pour 3.25 but he was like 1000cc main dalta he 3 hai jo b ho.. Don't know what to do

    I tried to convince him but was of no use..
    What should i do now?
    pour .25 in it seperately? or wait for the next oil change?
