Default Vitz 2008 brakes getting hard with AC on

    Hi,

Today as I was coming back from office I felt that my brakes are not working on low rpms and AC on. After 30 min of drive check engine sign also appeared on the meter. With AC turned off there is no issue with brakes. For the last few days I was getting a whistle like sound but very low from the AC blower but I ignored it as it was very minute. Anyone having a clue how could an AC and brakes be linked? Advise pls.

A car's AC work on DC current, and so do Brakes (abs sensors, etc. )....

If (as you said) you have a fault light in the dashboard, then get your car scanned as soon as possible, don't play games with brakes if you care for your life and that of others

Got it checked today with the mechanic and he told its an issue related to the butterfly that. You better get it repaired or better buy a full kabli throttle body.
Will replace the throttle body in next coming days

    Throttle body must be expensive.

Check for vacuum leaks around the intake manifold. More over do the throttle body cleaning and re-learning.
