    Default Vitz2003 Speed Problem

    Hi every 1!
    After a long time i found this forum to benefit myself and others by disscussing my problem. I own Vitz2003 and i got CNG fitted before one and half year. but the problem with this car is that it does not go over 115 km/h on petrol or cng and when after a considerable time it goes over 110km/h and even then i can not sustain that speed and the speed starts decreasing automatically with the same push on accelerator. and when it comes under 100 km/h then shifts back into D3 automatically if i push a little harder. i heard from some 1 that there may be a problem of throttle body(i dont know what it is). if plz some1 can help me out. i have change the fuel filter, spark plugs, and all related stuff even the fuel pump too. but still there is no improvement.
    it looks like the engine is very suffocated or like there is too much load in the car. if some bady can help me i will be really grateful.
    thanks to all
    take care and bye byeee

    @Jzsaeed.........

    Go to some good silencer shop, ask him to check the presence of catlytic converter, ask him to take it out that box, that must b blocked.

    If the problem presist after removing that, plz give a feed back for further solutions.

    i have personally experience taking the car to 130km/h with AC on and 4 ppl sitting including me, try turning OFF the O/D and see how much she goes

    Like few suggested i would first get the silencer checked to see if it's chocked or not get the whole lining checked

    very odd, either you have activated the Overdrive or your catalytic converter is choked. i've got the same model vitz as your asd mine had crossed 170 with laughing gas (Nitrous Oxide).

    I am facing the same problem.
    Please suggest me any mechanic or shop in Lahore where my Vitz's catalyic converter can be removed.
