    Default Vitz engine swap! 1.0 to 1.3 or 1.5 (2nzfe,1nzfe)

    Fellas!

    I plan to swap my 1szfe(1.0vvti) engine to 2nzfe(1.3vvti) or 1nzfe(1.5vvti).My Chasis is SCP10.

    I do have past experiences on older cars, experienced and knowing buddies are welcome give me pros and cons.

    Regards.

    @nabeeltahsin

    Bhai mere,get a cheap 4AGE,7AFE or 4EFE/4EFTE....i think these 1nzs are gonna be pretty expensive...but they do have their advantage as they will fit on your vitz bolt to bolt and power wont be lost.
    i might get NA swap for my vitz aswell...this 1szfe is pretty underpowered...i couldnt travel properly on motorway with auto tran,ac on and four people.

    If you want to go to the hassle of swapping rather than buying a 1.5, go with the 1.8. 4A and 7A - I don't know how easily they'd be mounted in your car. But as for the NZ, the 1.3 and 1.8 both come in the corolla, so should be similar.

    Brakes are not the only thing you will need to replace. You'll have to replace the dampers, springs, swap bars, probably have to add strut bars both front and rear to add structural rigidity and reduce body flex. Will have to put bigger tires and maybe 6 inch wide wheels, more if possible.

    The good thing about the vitz is that TRD makes a lot of parts for it, so a lot can be done fairly easily.

    Best of luck.

    hmmm i hav been plannin an engine swap for a long time in my vitz but i was wanting the 2zz-ge 1.8 180hp engine from the celica gts which sum1 in england fitted but in pak sum1 fitted a 1.6 n it was a bolt on fit but had a fuel problem. i suggest a 1.5 rs as its gonna give the least probs with other engines u hav to do alot of changes n with the 1.5 there r alot of aftermarket mods for it

    @nabeel

    if u can go for the altis engine, brakes are already abs but if u want u can get steel braided lines for ure brakes or some aftermarket brake pads but let me also tell u this that most of the senior members of this site and a lot of the junior members have swapped higher powered engines in their cars and done minimal upgrades to their brakes.... go for it... one step at a time..

    bhai i ve got a great idea
    why dont u put the 1.8 ltr engine and replace its fly wheel wid a smaller one.
    it ll give u the speed and less braking power will be required.

    I saw a few 1NZ-FEs in Peshawar Shoba bazaar last week.
    The price range was from 60,000 to 85,000.

    M/T in clean condition was for 65,000.

    Above were the demands, with complete ECU/Wiring and transmission. Did not negotiate.
