    Default Engine Modification of Vitz 2006 New Shape

    I have vitz 2005 new shape. Recently have installed CNG on it with Lambda just to improve the pickup.
    But needless to say the performance of CNG is not as desirable.
    Engine pickup is not smooth take little jerk when press accelerator. and on immediate stop or signal it noticeable vibrate.

    Moreover, on Patrol the performance is good I mean engine is in good condition.

    I have discussed with my mechanic and he proposed me to replace the engine with 1.3L engine easily available in the market at approximately 60000 including old engine and labor charges.
    I need expert opinion from you guys whether it is worth idea to change the engine because 1.3L engine is with 4 cylinders which is powerful no dugt.

    Do not waste your money by replacing with 1.3L engine. Performance of CNG will remain same with CVT A/T gear.

    @crazy car u LOL

    lets say yr car do 3rp/kilometer and u driver around 1000 km a month wich is normal....so u spend 3000 rupees a month..plus lots of tunning will make it around 4,000 a month

    and on petrol u will get around 15km/liter...so u need 67 liter a month costing u almost 5500 rupees

    so u paying just 1500 extra or cut the the tunning price to 500...now u paying 2,000 extra

    now if u have 60,000 in hand and u can sell yr CNG for around 40,000

    so u can actually speand yr next 4 to 5 years on petrol with god performance.....

    the new engien is a 3 cylinder dbw, and by putting cng we confuse the ecu, it will remain like this... plus dont change the engien you will ruin the reliability of a stock car.
    its all about power to weight ratio...
