    Hi PakWheelians

    Recently I have become owner of this beauty
    i.e. Vitz 2005 (imported in late 08). I must say its
    a splended car, I feel the difference a lot since I have
    upgrated from suzuki.

    Becomming the owner of Vitz mean u have to be
    involved with ur car. Helping each other will lead us to
    solutions to our problems more effectively.

    Since 2005 is a new generation of Vitz so a seperate
    more dedicated forum is needed. Any how we all know
    that there are many common things between two
    genereations of vitz, so this forum is open to all such
    common stuff.

    I have paid 8,75,000 for it + 30,000 for tyre and rims+18,000 for DVD Player+20,000 for registration= total cost is around 9,50,000.
    Yaar tag price was 9,00,000 at SAHARA Motors, Jail Road. but after negotiation i have paid 875K for it.

    thanks for reply;
    please show ur rims & tyre specs, and what about ground clearence

    @hsumbal1, @PuNk, @REDZDEVIL

    No offence brothers, that forum is also very informative as far as common issues are concered, but that forum has gone over 4000; finding info is really tedious, and most of it contains get-togather or hello-hi-bye messages. more over vitz 2005 is a new generation and for easier references deserves a new forum.

    Nice ride.
    I think it would be 9+ or 10.
    unique front grill. (seen first time on HBK)
    Still on stock wheel cups like me?
    Have any ground clearence problem, if yes then how u
    solved?

    @babbukhan
    If vitz 2005 (5 persons + CNG) on 185/70/14 donot hits
    speed breakers, OR rubs from inner side when wheel
    is fully turned or when car is pssed over bumps then
    this would be a real advantage of it over prior models,
    beacuse owners of past versions are quite disturbed
    with less ground clearence?

    sorry for delay i was out of town.

    @TypeR

    1. so far i havnt filled up tank to full, so cant tell
    u the average, but i will post as i do.

    2. by the way although its ur personal option but we
    cant drive alone forever . babukhan has posted that
    he has solved by putting on "185-70-14 YOKOHAMA A-Drive"
    and he claims that now there is no problem, but this
    claim looks suspecious to me.

    3. me having same issue with 4 people on board, my ride is
    also on stock feet

    @babukhan

    1. Brother as far as color of spoiler is concerened congragulations
    it is an exact match. i can't comment a lot on it since i havnt
    surveyed market for it yet. by the way how much it costed?

    2. previously u have posted that with "185-70-14 YOKOHAMA A-Drive"
    all problems have been solved. i have done some research on this claim.

    185/70/14 are 6.4% higher than the stock tires i.e. 185/60/14. so your
    new tires have made ur car 0.73 inches higher but i think when five men are
    on board then car is pressed more than it , so with so much load inside
    and and even with ur newer tires car should be lowered same to the ones with
    stock tires.Now if ur not having any problem then it simply means that
    ur one real lucky guy who has got a car with after market springs/shocks
    becoz lot of people in japan raise their cars for offroad drives.

    3. by the way keep an eye on meter because ur actual speed will be 106 when
    it will be showing 100 KM per hr.

    Yes it was right what you said, my car’s new tire have made higher it only 0.73 inch. How I can check my car’s shock are factory fitted or changed?

    May be yaar speed breaker ki height ka faraq ho, main rastay per jata hu waha per chotay size ke speed breaker ho!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    J

    I got the spoiler in 2200/- and paid 500/- for paint. Now I am looking for skirts for it.

    I'm thinking of buying 06/07 vitz in KHI. what should be a reasonable price for it, with or without push start?

    Seconly, there is this one vitz (iLL) model which has a tachometer, leather gear & steering etc., how much should one be willing to pay for this? 1,150,000?!

    Thanks!

    1. Did ur ride (2005) had kirh kir kir ...... sound when driven at low speed and in D gear, if yes how

    u overide of that.

    2. I didnt even got the japnease manual, so it will be nice if u post the description of gears D,S,B,

    and also the speed limits for ech gear, someone told me that the japnease manual has got a

    table mentioning the speeds for different gears.

    My current knowledge of gears is

    p ------- Parking, tyres willbe locked but should not be used at inclined place.

    D ------ Drive, (ALL 4 gears) All purpose horizontal drive.

    N ------- Neutral

    S ------- First three gears (for inclined drive)

    B ------- Breaking (First and Second gear) for steapest climb.

    I d'nt know how correct above definitions are?
