Alhumdulillaah brother. Your comments about Wagon R are making me more eager to get mine, a Silver Suzuki Wagon R VXL, In shaa Allaah, though have to wait for a few weeks for that. Nevertheless, enjoy the ride and praise Allaah.

    I have a question: Is there any difference in driving your Wagon R;
    with A/C
    without A/C

I am asking this because my past ride was a Suzuki Kei 2007 with
automatic transmission and I didn't have to put more pressure on
accelerator to drive the car with A/C. The ride was smooth whether AC
    was on or off.

My current ride is a 2006 Suzuki Mehran, more than 93,000 KM driven.
When I open the A/C and drive, I have to put some extra pressure on
accelerator in order to drive the car.

I hope Wagon R is a smooth drive whether AC is on or off. Please guide?

In any case, real consumption will be known after engine break in.

On a separate note, I was getting seat covers today and was pleasantly surprised at the seat belt position in the rear seat. In honda or toyota, seat belts are just passed from the trunk to the seat. But in wagon R, the seat has small pockets, through which the belts pass. Nice

The bolts are also of 'flower' pattern - similar to those in mercedes and land cruisers . Alhamdolillah for all the blessings

The incorrect tire pressure could've affected the fuel average.

Please, post a picture of the seat belt layout, I am interested .
And, that ' flower ' pattern, do you mean L-key shape?
Thanks for reviewing your car and increasing the interest for this awesome piece of machinery!

    - ahmed sb, one needs to give additional accelerator with ac. I have experience of only pakistani assembled cars, so I can say only about them, whether it's a 1000cc wagon R or a 1300 cc corolla/city.

    - faiz sb, i'm afraid I didnt take a picture of the seat belts. I left the rear and passenger seat at the poshish wala and he is expected to get the seat covers by tomorrow afternoon. However, u can have a look the next time you visit suzuki for maintenance, etc. I will take a picture of a bolt for you in the morning and post here.

    - talha sb, I pray that Allah gives you a car of your choice soon and you, too, would write interesting reviews for us at pakwheels ( a camaro or a tundra or an M5 or a hummer or a corvette ). Insha Allah.

I got it from MS Traders, this shop is on opposite to liaqat national hospital, they are 3-4 tyre shops there. My dealer was Danish Motors. I will calculate the mileage in this week inshaAllah.

Its not that over-sized, rim size is still 13, yes it is wider but ride is very smooth now. You can go with 165/70/13, search the market you will find this size.

I must admit that Paksuzuki has done an amazing job this time. I got a chance to inspect the upgraded wagon R (Bodykit, fogs, air press, etc.), and I absolutely loved it! This car offers great value for money over JDMs. However, VXL should've come with ABS brakes and an optional Auto transmission. But still, a great car in the 1.1 million bracket. Especially over Cultus.

Auto transmission is the need of the hour considering Pakistan's traffic condition I simply cannot understand why Paksuzuki never offers auto transmission. Honda has always offered auto on all models and toyota is mid range upper trims.
If this car had an auto transmission with abs and airbags it would have been a good car.

Paksuzuki is offering automatic transmission in Suzuki swift.
Automatic transmission costs more and not everyone can afford to get lower fuel economy.

Auto trans is different story, but it should have ABS, power side mirrors and auto back door windows, i think pak suzuki can manage it under 60k and it will be great package then in Rs 1150k

By the grace of Allaah, I received a call from Suzuki dealership yesterday, asking me to get the delivery of my Suzuki Wagon R VXL (Silky Silver). It was a great surprise for me as the tentative date of delivery mentioned on the provisional booking order form was 1st August, 2014, where as Pak Suzuki is going to deliver me the car within 4 working days (without paying any premium). Nevertheless, I have asked the Suzuki dealer to install front fog lamps and front and rear spoilers, as they add beauty to the car.

I have a few questions, and would appreciate worthy replies from people who have recently bought Suzuki Wagon R:

Q.1: Whether or not should I take delivery of my Suzuki Wagon R VXL (Silky Silver), if the dealer says he would give me the invoice within a few days?

Q.2: If the answer to Q.1 is yes, then should I take a written confirmation from Suzuki dealer that he would give me the invoice within a few days?

Q.3: What are the things that I should check in the zero meter Suzuki Wagon R VXL (would appreciate a detailed reply on this)?

Q.4: Should I buy the Jumbo Package offered by Pak Suzuki (Steering cover, mud flaps, seat covers, top cover, floor mats etc) for Rs. 6,202, or I opt to buy them from local market?

    Jazak Allaah Khair

They won't give me the invoice now, because of that, they asked me to pay the registration charges after delivery because invoice is yet to arrive.
