I then drove the car to a nearby Shell Petrol pump and topped up the fuel tank, and when I started the car again, the same meter which was previously showing 13.1 KM was then showing 145 KM. If I take your words that it showed the mileage, how come it was possible that the car travelled from 13.1 KM to 145 KM in no time, when infact, the distance between the showroom to petrol pump was hardly 300 M. Still Confused.
Sir, better consult the owner's manual. My wagon R either doesnt have this setting, or I dont know how to get to it :p. It would be a good feature for all of us.

Aameen to your prayers, brother. Yes, rightly said, need to skim thru a few pages of the owner's manual of Suzuki Wagon R, which has still been kept preserved in a plastic wrapper

May every Muslim have a fruitful Ramadhan.

Normal Octane- supposed to be 87 RON. Every pump delivers different RON's.
Hi-Octane- 91 RON. Some pumps sell normal petrol i.e 87 RON as Hi-Octane as well, LOL.
Turbo lag is like foreplay. You know it's coming. And it's gonna be good.

Good for you faysal. I am sure there are many options in 11 lakh, including a 2007 altis with auto transmission and sunroof, or a fully loaded civic/lancer with sunroof (which would be my favorite), but at the end of the day, every person has his own priority and some people here preferred the wagon R, according to their own priorities.

Having said that, I wish every motorist safety and driving pleasure with however he spends his 11 lakh, including those who bought racing bikes :p

You are sayn rite altis is a good option but you would get that a lil bit old model like 07 or civic is nice too but this car is perfect for people who wants better fuel consumption, i use to have altis 08 cruisetronic and that only gives 8 9 per lite ,if we go like that, yes there are way better option than this one. But like i said who wants a small family , this is a perfect option.

Exactly my point, perfect is a relative term. My idea of a perfect, economical car for a small family may be different from urs, so let's appreciate the difference and appreciate what each of us has got.

@saaadzzz saad no offense to anyone , im sure your ride would be great, what im saying is that consumer is paying too much atleast the manufacturers should give them something of the value and they should getrid of this ac non ac thing, these should be a must. Secondly when you buy a car in auction, you know exactly what is damaged if it is , japanese dont lie when its business n thats the reason, where they are now, we know that. But too much difference in drive , i did try both.

Secondly when you buy a car in auction, you know exactly what is damaged if it is , japanese dont lie when its business n thats the reason, where they are now, we know that. But too much difference in drive , i did try both.
Things you are talking about comes cheap so decision of buying a car cannot be made on things like ABS, power side mirrors or windows etc, you can see and compare Swift dl vs dlx, corolla xli vs gli, these things can be added by manufacturer with difference of 50k-100k. Pak suzuki should have launched WagonR vxl with abs and power side mirrors at least, it wont be bad with 1150k price tag.

I am a silent reader on pakwheels and gone through each fan club of Passo, Vitz, Mira, WagonR to come to conclusion to buy PKDM WagonR, below are the reason for my decision

    1) 40,000 km warranty, I do not need to worry about any extra cost of replacing parts.
    2) It is 0 meter, if I have to compare it with 4 grade Jdm import most of them are above 30k kilometer, it will take me around 2 years to do this much kilometers.
    3) It fuel efficient, yes, 660 Automatic cars are not fuel efficient i have read thousands of post jdm owner complaining of mileage, with manual transmission PKDM WagonR is more fuel economical.
    4) 200 kg weight capacity, most of the jdm in 660 cc comes with load capacity of 200 kgs, mean no more than 3 person can sit in it thats with luggage. with greater load engine will take load and mileage will hurt so is the suspension.
    5) Parts, you can see adds here on pakwheels, single headlight is costing PKR 20k for JDM, for pair it is 40K, similar case will be with other parts, they are way more expensive and not readily available.
    6) Good grade cars 4+ are not cheap, even Daihatsu Mira with 40K on odo, 4 grade costing around 1050K, 3 years old car and JDM WagonR is more expensive in japan than Mira.
    7) 1000 cc PKDM WagonR is more powerful, produces more HP than 660 engine.
    8) Resale value, this is important at the end of the day, check pakwheels section of used cars, compare the prices of new and old JDM cars you will notice that jdm do not have good resale.

Different people different views many go for the pkdm loads for the jdm, you are rite with certain things like people ask alot for head lamps etc but its not that expensive, its not more than 12 k, my cars are 4.5 grades so i never had any issue what you mentioned, it gives 17 18 per litre n thata too much, go to naran with a load of 6 people , you wouldnt get any trouble. I never had any issue with selling wagon rs and people who brought from me are satisfied. Both are good but monopoly in pakistani markets, they are still with the same thing ac and without ac , thats bad, so a buyer pay extra for ac ,if dont, brand new car without ac ,
