with my old margalla, i came to conclude that anything that was different from owners manual is bad, my car engine would still have been very strong if we hadn't listened to mechanics.

these cars are meant to save money, but the way we maintain them, it doesn't happen.

I strongly advise that someone buy a wagon R service manual, otherwise you guys are going to have a hard time when the car gets old.

your post stated 5w30, there is not too much difference in the two grades. but sgo isn't even close to that.

Try this, go ask the parts shop for the service manual, first he will get shocked, and try to sell you the owner's manual, then he will deny that the service manual isn't for customers (which isn't the case).

they use shilikone as windscreen sealant.

you can not buy the seam sealer that they use at the factory or the wheel well undercoating.

bewakoof hi bana rahay hain, just desi mechanics in uniform.

Get Zic FF gear oil instead. First go to Suzuki and tell them about the gears problem. If they listen then get the gear box changed or ask them to solve the issue. If they don't listen then simply try Zic FF gear oil in your car. Its much closer to recommended grade in manual.

Because in Pakistan Mobil1 isn't available in 0w-20 grade. Its only available in 0w-40 and 5w-50.
The only available oil in 0w-20 is Kixx Neo. And then we have 5w-20, 0w-30, 5w-30 etc.
Which oil do you recommend using in Wagon R? Available options for me are Zic A+, Zic OW, Total 9000 (5w-30) and Shell helix ultra if i find it in 5w-30 grade.

Bro to be very very honest Suzuki warranty is good for nothing. You do a little adjustment to engine and warranty is gone. They simply reject by making lame excuses that you didn't poured in our oil, you didn't do this etc etc. God Forbid if anything wrong happens they won't listen to you anyways. Do what the manual says you too. Engineers who wrote manual are not stupid.

Available options for me are Zic A+, Zic OW, Total 9000 (5w-30) and Shell helix ultra if i find it in 5w-30 grade.
don't worry will squeeze the maximum possible oil from 3s abbotabad as earlier they had put extra oil in gearbox due to which gears slipped in 2nd gear. i have taken written acknowledgment from them for responsibility of any kind of problem in gear box even after warranty so inka baap b meri sunega
    but what about engine oil???
